European/Australian PS3 launch story thread.

I don't have a pre order, but am gonna get up tomorrow morning and hope to find one:?

I'll be getting Resistance fall of man, even if I dont find a PS3 though. I always buy games for a system I know I'm gonna get, even if I dont have the system yet. :) 

How about you? Are you getting one at launch? Gonna try to get one al launch? Or waitng to see what happens?

I pre-ordered my PS3 only last week. Today I went to the store to ask if I would get my PS3 for sure tomorrow. And yeah, I will! :D I was afraid (since I live pretty much in the middle of nowhere) that either the store wouldn't get any PS3s, or they'd get less PS3s than they have pre-orders for it. But all's good, there are more PS3s than pre-orders, so I can safely go there tomorrow and pick it up. I'm really excited. :D Also, I ordered a BT headset from Amazon today (was the last of its kind in stock, lol) and I'll pick up R:FOM, Motorstorm, a 2nd Sixaxis and an HDMI cable with it tomorrow. This'll be such a fun weekend...Nightflash28

I'm picking up my PS3 at midnight :) I just hope I don't get mugged when I go home with over £500 of sony goodies...

I'm not even sure I want to buy it too far away from home. I'm gonna go to a small store close to home first so if they have it  I dont have to walk home for long. Not even becouse I'll be home sooner to play it. more for fear of being robbed. even in broad daylight:|

i got mine at the nz lauch 7 hours and 40 minutes ago. i even talked to one of the local radio djs. and i was the first one through the checkout at the store i got it from! it is sooooooooo cool.i cant wait untill i get the damn firmware updated and can play online.skorpion352
