It is really dependant on mood which has to do with SO many things. What is going on in your life, where you are at mentally, maybe even the season. Also it may be the games that you are playing, or the environment you are playing them in. Or maybe you don't play enough with others and such. I HAVE felt this way, but lately I have not. Ever since I bought my ps3 about 10 months ago, things have been much better for me then when I owned my 360.
I rarely even have the time to sit down and play a game. If anything I play TF2 because I can play that after I finish up my hw on the computer. I bought FFXIII at launch, but I haven't really had the chance to sit down and play it and enjoy it. I think I have only have 4-5 hours total at the moment.
Sometimes, when I have that not truly being productive feeling. But really setting some time for yourself to play not a bad thing, just take a break and enjoy it. For some reason when I feel like I don't I also don't feel like not doing much in general at the time also.
not me. there are certain games that ive felt like i was forcing myself to play. but that was only to get used to the control scheme or something like that. skate 2 and kz2 are great examples of that.
you gotta take breaks and enjoy "real" life sometimes. besides, its spring and theres ladies afoot out there.
I'm in the same situation. I have been for a few years now. I still love gaming, but most of the time I can't be bothered playing a game. Problem is, these days, I buy more games than I ever have. This, combined with my lack of enthusiasm to play them, has resulted in a huge backlog of games that I've bought but will probably never play.x-2tha-zYeah, I know what you're saying, and then I feel guilty for buying so many.
I buy most new games when released and never play them,,,Uncharted2, Metal Gear, Killzone2, and others just go un touched.....Gaming is just not when it use to be.....Fun, Interesting, Uses imagination, Simple, but challenging.....Todays games you have to dedicate whole weeks just to get into the story and get use to the feel of the game.......
Give me Zelda on Super nes, original Socoms, First Driver on ps1, and some older resident evils...now that was a awesome time of gaming to grow up in....Todays games try way too hard
Yeah i've been getting that alot lately. It's like i'll get bored with the game i'm playing, then take the game out so I can play something else. After that i'll sit there and stare at my collection for about 10 minutes because I can't figure out what to play. After that my system gets turned off :(
