I don't have a PS3.... yet. But who here is excited about the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion? When I get my PS3, I'm coming home with this game, I've already made up my mind.
the gameplay videos didn't caught my attention but as soon as I heard that it was one of the best games of the year and my friend told me that he had 300+ hours playing it, I preorder it...now I just gotta wait
Well, apart from the fact that the ps3 needs this game to push itself forward, i can hardly say i'm excited. How can i be? i have already played the PC version till i can level up no more, and i did that all over again when i got my 360. To do it the third time would be just insane. Spending 60 bucks for game, although improved, just to play the third time, and in which i already own two other versions, is hardly worth it. I'd rather spend the money on expanding my library in terms of variety. So in short, i'm not really excited.

If he's willing to buy the same game a couple of times what does that say about the game...yeah i'm really excited about this one..value for money when you get 200+ playing hours..roll on march 23

Oblivion is such an amazing game, i've already logged 300+ hours onto it with the PC Version but i don't think i'll be getting it for PS3. Since i'm still playing the PC Version there is no need to get it a second time. I know a lot of people that don't have it for PC is really exited about this game, i would be too if i didn't own the PC version. Enjoy! Btw, they really do mean 300+ hours of gameplay, i don't like to skim thourgh a game fast, i like to enjoy it while it lasts and the Story of that game is really strong.

There's a reason for that. My PC isn't very high end. I had to sacrifice the picture quality on many accounts just to make it smooth. I even had to off the foliage and grass. The second purchase was merely to experience the graphically uncompromised version. A third purchase would be a little questionable though.
Already completed it on PC, so I doubt it. The only reason I'd get it would be because it'd look better on the PS3 (Running on an AMD 3000+ and ATi X800Pro on the PC), but I'd rather just rent it and go "ooooh" for a few days than spend £40. Great game though, no denying that.

So basically I have been waiting in agony ever since November. I heard it was coming out Christmas, then New Years, then Valentine's day.... now freaking March 20th, I just hope these next 10 days go by super fast.

^_^ This reminds me of when I waited for Oblivion to come out for the first time. Every day i would wake up and think "The Gates Open in X Days!" Great Game I am glad to see Bethesda supporting the PS3 now!
It's strange. I read all the great reviews, I watched so many clips, I've heard so many people going nuts over the game, but I can't seem to bring up any excitement for it even though I love RPGs. I think something's wrong with me. :)
A year old 360 port not really worth getting excited over in my opinion. However for those that haven't already played it on the 360 or PC I guess you'll enjoy it. The thing that ruined the whole game for me was the Auto levelling of the enemies so you never actually ever feel God like. Also the FPS combat is not very good I would have preffered to see my character in a good 3rd person view fighting, there is one but its laughable.
