Hey guys, I have recently bought an Xbox 360. And now I'm getting concerned with all of the reports of the RROD because I usually keep my 360 in a room that is between 70-78 F, and I'm not sure what to do. Return my 360, and then buy a PS3, or keep it and just extend my in-store warrenty because I'm really not satisfyed with MS. The only reason I'm not returning my 360 is because it has ALOT of games, and I'm a big shooter fan, also it has many exclusives like Halo and Gears, but it is very breakable and lacking in hardware featues, the PS3 on the other hand has very little shooters that are within my taste, but has blue-ray and has built in wireless.psp56
First off what did you expect to hear in a ps3 forum, the truth?
80% of the replys will be "return the crapbox theres no good games, it breaks after 30 secs of use etc etc etc".
How can you be un-satisfied with MS when you have just bought the 360, its not like you have went through 4 xbox's that took ms 2 months to get back to you.
Theres a 3 year warrenty from date of purchase with all xbox 360 that suffer from the rrod, and if your xbox breaks now it will be restired with new falcon chips and better components.
My 360 was a launch 360 and it broke around june-july 07, it was 15 days when i got it back i letter inside the box told me what was wrong and what had been fixed, my motherboard was replaced and several chips. and i was more than happy with the service.
My ps3 is also a great system and if i had to choose between the two i would pick 360 at this moment of time mainly because i have 60+ games for 360 and 4 for ps3, but ive only had my ps3 for 2-3 months.
What i dont understand is if you have these doubts why on earth did you buy 360, why didnt you just buy a ps3 at the time.
Only you can tell yourself what you like and dislike about each console and only you can tell you which system has the best games for you.
[QUOTE="chatri10"]Honestly, I think you need to have more than one console this gen. I have all 3 and I'm happy that I can play every exclusive I want.mnmnanu
same
Yeah thats been my way of thinking since nes, master system days.
Theres no such thing as "console x has no good games" or " console x has all the games i like" all systems will have great games in the genre's you like over its life span and to enjoy the best the gaming world has to offer you need them all.
I guess im just greedy i have a top end pc/ps3/360 and had a wii(i sold it, but my sister has a wii and lives around the corner so i can play mario).
Like ive always said fangirls are the ones that miss out.
