I bought my very first item off the psstore recently. I looked at my funds online and apparently there are two charges, and yes they come from the same source. One is the price i expected to be paying for the software, the other is a $1.00 charge which i have no idea what it means. The charges are currently under pending so the funds aren't technically subtracted yet. Is this normal? If so then.... what the heck? Nintendo never pulled this crap off the times i bought their downloadable stuff.

That dollar charge is just a test run by the company to make sure your credit card/debit card is legit. It will eventually disappear. A lot of companies do this to avoid credit card scam I imagine, or to make sure credit card info you give them isn't outdated. It's nothing to be worried about.

This one dollar charge is completely unfair. They reject my credit card four times but STILL CHARGED ONE DOLLAR to the same card. How can they justify rejecting my card but still debit one dollar to it? And I was only making a purchase of $8.45 anyway. Absolutely ludicrous, I will not be using the store again.

Oops, better add to my comment above. Apparently these costs are pending only and should disappear after a couple of business days. I'll keep you posted when/if they do, as it might be an issue with the debit mastercard.

You just bumped a year-old thread to restate exactly what was already said. If you absolutely must revive a dead thread, at least take the time to read it?
