Your very right about the 12 and under crowd. However, you show me a "adult" who playes this game and I will show you a man that owns 18 cats, goes to McDonalds in sweatpants for dinner, and still thinks that working for BlockBuster will pay off someday.
Its a good game for the younger kids out there and I hope it does well. But the fact is that most of the PS3 gamers out there are "older". This game might not hit the mark.

Hum, DontTazeMeBro, your quite ignorant arnt you. So because this game involves cards its for kids and geeks? Why are you on a video gaming forum, surely if you follow one horrible stereotype you follow them all. Now leave us 4-eyed, acne ridden video game geeks alone...gekidami
You say Im ignorant yet you call video gamers "4-eyed, acne ridden, video game geeks"? Umm......Ok kid. Good one.
And yes, I PERSONALY feel that card games are for the younger gamers. Am I wrong in feeling that way?

Soooo, How many cats do you have:D
Just kidding! More power to you. Im 28 and my wife would just about die from laughter if she caught me playing this game. Wait a second...............when does this game come out?!

You fail to understand sarcasm as you also fail when saying this game only interests 12 year old kids

As do you Capt. Kirk. As do you...
I must be the most pathetic one out there! I am 31, very good looking and physically fit. married to a wonderful, caring and very sexual woman. I have 2 wonderful children and I am still excited about this game and it's possibilities! Oh well there are some of us out there!!dennmann29
Can we please learn more about your "sexual woman" :)
One the acne comment was meant as pun (over your head) and two the younger gamer comment does not make you wrong per say but you do come off as being narrow mindedClever_NYC
Holy Crap....really? You kids need to lighten up and take a joke. For some people this is there bag. Im cool with that. Its just not for me. When I think of card games like this I think of a bunch of 12 year olds getting together at a sleepover and busting out the cards over some fresh made popcorn. Its already been proven that there are some older gamers out there that are really looking forward to this game.
So fine, you kids win. Im a narrow minded guy who doesnt get the pun. Thats what I get for expressing my thoughts on a PS3 game in a PS3 game forum.

Relax, Dont get your panties in a bunch. You shouldn't have come offensive and face it you did because not only did it bother the person you made the comment to but others here as well. We all respect other opinions here...well I do but lets play nice with the other kids okay? To the topic at hand: I think the game has a lot of potential. I will def pick this up just because it comes off interactive.... gimmicky but in a cool way.unnestly ... im a magic the gathering player and my biggest problem with the card game is :
i need people to play and sometimes they're hard to find (small town and all).
i tried mtg online but i hated not having the cards in my possession.
this could fix both problems, i'll be checking this game.
Btw this game is produced by wizards of the coast also does Dungeon & dragons and MTG. and in my area all the mtg card players are older then 20. I'm also 24 just for saying.

Perhaps beautiful would've worked better.
DontTazeMeBro1
Absolutely ridiculous, I'm a 25 year old gamer with a wife, mortgage, and a teaching career. I will be buying this game.

Good for you. You can win 2. Or should I say "gold star for you"
I was ready to write this game off entirely, until I DLed the video from the PSN and did a little research on it last night.
I used to be a MTG "collector" since the game was first released (I'm 30 yrs old), andcontinue to buy packs every now and then. I say "collector" because I never had much opportunity to play anyone - couldn't interest friends in the game, no desire to play others at my local comicshop, etc.
But this Eye of Judgment intrigues me. The gameplay and graphics look great. Online playability gives someone like myself the chance to collect the cards and actually find opponents, be they PSN friends or strangers.
Not only that, consider the Playstation Eye has other functions yet to be discussed anywhere else in this thread. Most notably, the potential to use it in the future as a webcam. Plus, it has a built-in microphone, which couldbe used by those of our PS3-loving brethren who do not already own a headset.

You need to be tazed out of this thread. Speak your mind without bashing others. Can't you do that? So you think it's lame. Just leave it at that.
Its werid how some people say playing card games=to not having a life, but there is no difference between a card battle game and a video game. So if your logic is card games=no life then that means you have no life because you play video games which is basicly the same thing.
Any who I think it will be a hit. Card battle games have the power to cach the intrest of all ages not just kids. i mean when I went to play yugioh in a comic book store (by the way im 19) there were older guys and not older guys who look like they live with thier moms. These guys had suits and briefcases and looked like they had a really good job. I cant wait for this game i'm getting it day1 hope to see ya online.
Sorry to offend. A bit defensive are we? Hmmm, makes me wonder.......DontTazeMeBro1
*sigh* I don't have to wonder about you. I already know. "BRO"

a teacher playing eye of judgement? lmao fricking sweet!I'm 18 years old. I own my own vehicle, which I worked to pay for with my own money. Since I've owned my vehicle I've put over $6,000 of my own money into it. I've had a job since I was 14 years old. I have friends. I've been moved out and living on my own since the day before my 18th birthday. Mommy and Daddy haven't bought everything for me since I started working. Have they bought me stuff? Yes. But nowhere near what they did before I had a job. I "have a life". I'm very much looking forward to The Eye of Judgement.
Just because it's a card game doesn't mean that it's only for kids/young people. Some card games are quite difficult and require a large amount of strategy, and would probably be too much for a kid too young to understand completely. I'm sure people of all ages will be playing it. If anything, more adults will be playing this game than children. Why? One reason is that there is no Eye of Judgement cartoon on tv for the kiddies to watch, like Pokemon and Yugioh, etc. And unless the kid is completely spoiled, which I know a lot of children are nowadays, I doubt they have a Playstation 3 yet anyway.
You guys were saying 12 and under. I say 12 and older. I highly doubt most parents bought they're children under 12 a PS3.
This game will also be appreciated by it's art. A lot of people, myself included, enjoy stuff like this for the artwork displayed on the cards. (and now on the screen as well!) Seeing art literally come to life in your hand is really something.
Some people on these forums and in the world of videogames themselves make me laugh. Everybody is always demanding MORE MORE MORE from these games, yet they don't want to pay a few more dollars. "I want more maps for this game! They cost extra? Nevermind." Now people are complaining about the cost of cards for The Eye of Judgement. The cards will probably be quite inexpensive anyway. And don't give me the sob story about "some people not having money to blow on videogames because of bills and rent and yaddayaddayadda." Sounds to me like a lot of people don't know how to budget and manage their money if they have absolutely NOTHING to spare.
I think The Eye of Judgement will definitely be a HIT...and I hope they keep expanding the game and adding new cards.
Oh yes, I forgot about the "nerd" factor. Who cares? A lot of people think videogames in general are nerdy. Are you going to cry? Does it hurt your feelings? I laugh things like that off because I know they're missing out.
A friend of mine who works for a game company under Microsoft, told me that "Nerd isn't a 4 letter word, it's a 6 figure income." He's 25 years old, and probably makes more than any of us. He's also happily married to a cute woman he met on a Final Fantasy VII chatroom.
So yeah, don't knock the nerds. As technology progresses, so do the nerds.
