heheh this makes me want to get this game even more.... all the fun of card game without having to spend all your money!!!
I see this as an advantage.... everyone has access to all cards. i got sick of magic cause my friends were always richer than me, therefore, there decks were better. now its an even playing field....
In IGN's review they mentioned that there was a system in place to prevent cheating online and it doesn't matter if you copy cards or not they said.

There is some sort of code hidden on the top of the card somewhere and it can't be copied no matter how EXPENSIVE your LASER FIBER OPTIC SCANNER is.
I think there is a registration code hidden somewhere on the card that is used. If you copy the card that YOU own, it will work on YOUR PS3, but it wont work online if you used said copy on another system, because the original card is registered on another PS3. You probably can play with it offline, but not online.
Just a theory here.

I don't think that they would do that, otherwise you couldn't trade cards with a friend and have the card work online.

Any card you copy will work. But when you play online, you can't cheat, in the sense that you have to register all cards online, and the shuffling and handing of cards are done by computer. So yes, you can cheat to have more cards than you bought, but you can't cheat when playing with others online during the dealing of the cards.

actually, if you read the article of the simply scanned card on post #1
" Just to make sure, I registered the card with my online deck. Worked like a charm."
so, that kinda rules out all the arguments saying it wont work for online.
its a sad day for the game, because i think the collecting is the biggest and most enjoyable part.
