F1 Games on PS3

It's June and F1 isn't announced yet and is not in the upcoming E3 game list.

Now Sony has released F1 games for the PS2 since the start of the console till the end but why not for the PS3?

They have advertised it as a exclusive and used it as a system seller but are they just not making them any more after about 9 years of hard work (F1 1998 was first one I believe)

And I know Sony's licence has expired this year but they can easily extend it if they want, cant they?

Does this mean no F1 game this season?

on the PS2 they released one every July/august and announced it in April/may.

Also they used a transition game when going from the PS to the PS2 (one game with the same season one both platforms.)

Someone translated the full article of GT5 for me a while ago and he said that they are only adding some ferrari F1 cars.

Also they cant afford the full 07 licence thats why we will only see some F1 cars and probably not from the 07 season.

 He said this:

 All the Ferrari range will be present, and they're trying to have Porsche and Lamborgini, but as long as it is not signed he cannot answer positively (let us cross the fingers).

About F1 cars, there is a problem of rights, to make a F1 game you need to pay the FOM (Formula One Managment) and they ask a lot of money. However we will find true F1 in GT5, like old Ferrari F1 or like F1 of manufacturers who still are present in the game (Mercedes, Lotus).
