Scored better than most F1 games do, plus, the F1 games seem to always tend to be more of a niche game than anything else, what with the sport not being popular over here in the US.
Its like they are searching for the smallest little flaw in the game and using it as a reason the for the low score: "rosters are extremely out of date." 2006 was how long ago?

Exactly most people don't understand F1 racing and the cars are very touchy. It's not like playing NFS: Carbon, it's more like playing a simulator. One that is very sensitive to mistakes. It's only a certain group that will love these kinds of games.
the thing that amazes me the most is the score they gave the graphics. this game is one of the best lookin games i have ever laid eyes on. at the very least, they should have gave it a 9. anyone else agree?

I don't understand how they can say the statement below and give it a 7.2.
The sense of speed is almost overwhelming at times. The screen will blur, the camera shakes, and you constantly feel as if you're on the verge of a horrific accident, particularly when you're racing in a pack. The frame rate is fast and rock solid, even when multiple cars are onscreen. As much as you'd like for the frame rate to slow down a bit when it's raining, even the amazing rain effects don't cause so much as a stutter. This means you're forced to rocket around the course blinded by the mist from the cars in front of you and the droplets of rain running across the screen. It's awful because it's so hard to see, but at the same time it's awesome because it looks so realistic.

How are the 360 fans at fault for less than stellar games being released on the PS3? This game has a 73% on gamerankings so gamespot.com seems to be right on.
I'm really not suprised at all that F1 got a 7.1 and a 73% average on gamerankings. You can only have so much fun in a F1 game anyways. Plus those games aren't really that popular and are really only enjoyed by the hardcore racing enthusiasts.
