Hi everyone,

Hope all is well. I have a question:

I just bought a PSP slim used, and although it works great, it has several little scratches on the screen. I've dealt with this before with a palm, but I think that this is too bad to just throw a sheet of screen protector on it. Besides a apray or something, I've heard that getting a new faceplate effectively replaces the "screen" ie the plastic that the scratches are on. Does anyone know if this is true? Will getting a new faceplate give me a fresh start?

Thanks!

yep, the faceplate is an entire front section of your psp, wich includes the screen of course, there are some that have pretty sweet designs, IMO Camy pro gear and Asterix are the best ones, I'm getting a matte red from camy on the next couple of weeks.

visit www.decalgirl.com, or search in google

Actually, for the Slim, I think the actual screen is seperate from the actual faceplate that has the buttons and such.

ic... so am I SOL then? can you get a separate screen plate to change? any ideas anyone? I really don't want to live with this thing if I can't get rid of these scratches somehow!

Thanks!

No. The faceplate covers the lcd screen and is made to be replaced. Just pay attention to the button cover placement. A small phillips-head (+) screwdriver is needed.
