Fallout 3 GOTY Question

Hey,

I wasn't able to buy the DLC which came out recently on the US PS Store because I had a Japanese disc. I wanted to know whether the GOTY edition will pick up my fallout 3 save games so I don't have to play the whole campaign all over again. Any help appreciated.

I'm from India. We don't have a Gamestop over here. As far as I know (I've checked in a few places), no store nearby has a Fallout GOTY game.

I'm not entirely sure that your plan would work. My versions (admittedly it's the European one) has one disk with the full game and the DLC on and I can't see any way in which you could rip the DLC from the disk to use with the regular version.

Does anyone know ? My dad's going to BKK today and I've asked him to get it. However, if the save games from Fallout 3 don't work, I might have to reconsider.
