Fallout 3 is hott....butt...short...(main story)(might be spoilers)

Fallout 3 is hott...i luv it with the battle system and everything and blasting heads off with the fat man...but i love the story

becase it keeps u detailed and etc but...is it me or the story is omega short ? yes i know you could do side quest and DLC

but im tlking about THE Main quest which keeps fallout running..... I just got passed the waters of life part but it was actually sad

about it once again the story is short...and to remind you i been playing fallout3 for 2 days...and im already half way and i stopped

to play GTAIV (just got also) to not abuse it...but somehow i ended up on it telling Dogmeat to go hunt for some food lol...

It's short but the main story isn't even why I love the game so much. All of the side missions and new weapons keep me entertained. Although I haven't watched it, apparently some guy beat the game in like 35 minutes.

I got alot of hours on fallout3, and still only found about 50 locations, cant wait for broken steel to raise the level cap

The main story can be beaten in like 20 hours, but if do you all the side quests it can take you over 100 hours to do.

The main story is quite short, but it was still a solid storyline. If they just fleshed it out a little more (without having to rely on DLC) then the game would have been that much better. It's still an awesome game and the side quests were hella fun, but I think the main story should take the majority of the game.

Definitely one of my favorites from last year, but I just wish it would have lasted a bit longer. The DLC is nice (I have the 360 version), but they add up and can cost a fortune.

Hot yes, short? Nooo, heh. You dont really buy an rpg solely for the main story (imo), but for the (hopefully) great sidequests. Im just now approaching the 120 hour mark, and still have quite a few things left to do.

You getting the GoTY Edition? I kind of want it just for the DLC (already bought one of them on Xbox Live), so I was going to sell my copy now before its value decreases anymore. Rather get like 20-30 bucks for the game on Ebay and then pay the remainder for the GoTY one. Probably save me some as opposed to buying the DLC individually. Is that what you're doing too if you're getting it?

the game main highlight is not acctuay the main story quests, I just ****ed around for over 40 or so hours before i even tried finishing the remaining last quests. Its just like Oblivion, the storyline takes like 10 or so hours to beat but so many people have put in hundreds of hours in the game

i think i'll just keep mine standard edition as a Collectors item, i'll get less then half the price i paid for if i try to sell it anyways so...

the regular game took me more than 50 hours , without exploring everything and doing all side quest so it definitely not short
