Fallout 3 or Call Of Duty 4

Hey Guys,

I'm looking to invest in one of these games, and I've previously owned both for PC, but had to sell them for some cash when the recession hit.

Now that the DLC has been announced for Fallout 3, I'm tempted to pick it up and finally finish it. But MW2 is also coming out, and I really want to play through CoD4 again. Quite the pickle eh? :P

Which should I get and why?

Even though COD4 is one of my all time favs. Fallout 3 DLC is where I'm looking next. I say get Fallout 3 and wait for the version with the DLC with it to come out. Then get Modern Warfare 2 :)

COD 4 because it is a must have game and the multiplayer is sooo good. Fall Out 3 is also nice but not as nice as cod 4

Not really a fair comparison if you ask me... but let me put it to you this way, which do you want more of now?

1) Guns blazing and balls to the wall action

or

2) an RPG

I just recently bought COD4 for my Xbox (bought it for PC when it came out in 07) and finished it again last night and man... it's tight as hell, you can't go wrong with COD4.

Do you want to play by yourself or with other people?

For your money's worth, Fallout 3 is FAR superior.

I would go with Call of Duty 4 if you've already beaten both, because you could play online on COD 4.

get FO3. CoD 4 is only good for online play, and that will die out soon as MW2 looms large. FO3 can provide hundreds of hours of gameplay, and the new DLC will only add to that.

Don't get fallout - particularly for the ps3 as the DLC wont be out for some time - until the GOTY edition is out. Paying for the game and the DLC is a waste of money. If you want something right now, I'd go with COD4...

Fallout 3. It's much more fun than CoD4. How many FPS do you really need?

Fallout 3 has a first-person perspective, yeah, but VATS makes for one hell of a battle system. Add in the fun quests, exploring, and the general feeling of joy when you lop someone's head off with a well-placed bullet and you're talking about a great game, DLC or not.
