Fallout 3 or Infamous?

As the title says.. I have a chance of getting any one of them. But i am confused, i have never played a role-playing game before and i have heard of numerous bugs in fallout3 PS3 version. And infamous is a sucker punch game which i have never tried before, need help Please.

Well if you never played an RPG before then I suggest Infamous.

I do think in the future you should give F3 a try though..

Between the 2 games, I got more enjoyment (and value) out of Fallout 3. But i did play the PC version of that one so not sure about any PS3 bugs. If you do choose Fallout 3, be sure to get the game of the year version because it will probably add about 10-20 more hours of gameplay (depending if you like to do side quests or explore a bit).

Both great games, but for me Fallout 3 is better, so much to do and loads of time to put into it, well worth getting :)

I gave, on my personal list, Fallout 3 a 9.7 and inFamous a 9.5.

Both are superb games, but both have their fair share of glitches and bugs. inFamous is more straightforward. And if you're not used to a huge map where you can do whatever you please and ignore the main storyline for dozens of hours and even get lost, then don't go with Fallout 3. inFamous is a lot smaller, but still open-world.

Both games have karma which affects what you can do and how people treat you, but Fallout's karma system is more complex and varied, since you can be neutral and your karma level gives you speech option.

If you don't like exploration and just roaming around, then don't go for Fallout 3. If you want something more complex, a lot of explorations with more options and stuff to collect and to do, then by all means go with Fallout 3. And if you like guns, inFamous doesn't have any.

I prefered Fallout 3, but you can't go wrong with either game.

Infamous to me was love.

Fallout to me was a strong attraction.

You should play inFAMOUS but either way you won't go wrong.

If you're into RPGs, Fallout 3, it's one of the best games this gen. But to be honest, you can't really go wrong with inFAMOUS either, both games are fantastic. But Fallout 3 will give you much more bang for your buck (100 hours and I'm still not done.)

I didnt play either but I would get InFamous.

I myself refuse to buy an inferior port of a game, so I would go with Infamous no doubt.

Fallout 3 is way better...since your new to role playing games this is a good start to get into them since Fallout is also part FPS game. then game is open world. Completing all the missions will take atleast 60 or more hours and if you get the GOTY version it will be even bigger.

Infamous can be beaten in less then 10 hours and has no replay value after you beat it both good & evil.
