Fallout 3 Question.

I have been watching fallout 3 gameplay videos and i personally think it looks like a fun game. The thing that is holding me back is that the PS3 got lower rated but only because of some visual glitches. To anyone that has the PS3 version is it bad enough that i shouldnt get it(The Orange Box Port) or is it worth the 60 bucks.

The only bug I've seen that is not in the other versions is that the game freezes momentarily whenever you get any PSN notifications on your screen (friend online/offline, new msg, etc)... but if you turn off notifications in the XMB then this issue does not come up at all.

The game is awesome and well worth getting. There are other bugs in the game... but they're the same ones in the PC & 360 version... and while they can be annoying at times, they don't take away from the greatness of the game. Definitely a GOTY contender.

you can easily get rid of the XMB bug by disabling your notifications. cheers.

Besides the notification glitch I havn't found anything that spoiled the experience. The game is amazing and is deffiantly a must play for anyone that likes RPGs.nygiants1080

Personally I think the game looks great, I havn't noticed any jagged edges that stand out.

Been playing the game for about 6 hours and it looks fabulous.

Just a note about it though....I really need to get myself to do the quests lol. I just wonder round using the VATS system all day lollll.

Yeah, I have that same problem. I seem to be wandering look for Raiders to kill more than I seem to be even looking for the quests I have to do :P

Definitely worth the money. Go get it TC. I was in the same boat as you, but i decided to take a chance and i haven't regret my decision so far.

Personally, I haven't experienced any bugs, but I'm only starting the game. Keep in mind, this was made by the Oblivion people, and Oblivion had tons of bugs in it. I would say more than Fallout 3 based on my own experiences.

Keep in mind that the reviews that gave it a lower score, have also all said the game is still awesome on PS3...and they are right. Amazing game. Plus, despite what some whiners may have said in the past, this really does just FEEL like a Fallout game.
