Which of these games did you enjoy more and why?

Hard to say... I preferred Oblivion's world but I preferred Fallout's story & NPC's... Fallout was harder but it lasted longer... Fallout had some cool weapons but I was reluctant to use them because ammo was too scarce... Oblivion lets you keep playing after the ending without forcing you to get a DLC pack lol... nope to this day I still can't decide which is one is better. They're both very good. :P
Both are really great games. If I had to chose one over the other, I'd pick Oblivion, but only because of the time it represents. I really enjoy those medieval themed games.
i prefer oblivion because i like sunny views and clear beautiful waters. fallout 3 was just too depressing to me. it felt very hopeless.
My answer will probably change to New Vegas in a few weeks. :P
To answer the question, I enjoyed Oblivion more. Fallout 3 had too many glitches, the combat was poor, and the ending was bad. (with or without Broken Steel)
I enjoyed Fallout 3 more only because it was my first Fallout experience and Bethesda did an okay job at it. Oblivion is much more fun because im into the whole swords>>guns thing, and Oblivion will last you longer plus the game feels endless.
Fallout lasted about 100+ hours for me on 3 playthroughs, Oblivion however I replayed alot more. I would say get Fallout because I love that retro/futuristic feel to it, and even though you should buy oblivion eventually, Fallout 3 is just very addictive and much more fun to explore imo.
I've played both and in my opinion Oblivion is the better game, because first off I love the medieval theme, second the engine works better for swords, bows and arrows, and magic. The main story is a little lacking in Oblivion though, but its the side quests that I really like anyways. Fallout 3 the main story is better than that of Oblivion but I not a big fan of the post-apocalypse genre either. I found the combat in Fallout 3 frustrating at times as well.
