Just need to move it to another iconic location, not sure where a good place would be but it would have to be differant from Washington DC, not sure how differant other locations would look after a nuclear holocaust though, can't imagine it would be that differant from Washington DC haha. Maybe do Fallout 3 from a differant perspective or something, dunno. Guess we'll find out in Fallout: New Vegas.
isnt fallout 4 the Las Vagas one thats meant to come out later on either next year or the year after =S
Fallout 4 should take place in post-nuclear Russia. Plenty of iconic landmarks and well known places, mutated wolves and giant Grizzly bears etc. Plus the Chernobyl disaster is more than enough inspiration for Bethesda.
have you ever had this wild idea that america aint the only country on the planet?
Anyways, i think florida or texas could be nice :D. And fallout cant move out of America. Fallout is about a post nuclear 1950s american dream
Ehhh STALKER already did that.so im hoping that they don't do Chernobyl. I hope they focus on a more different location thoe.Fallout 4 should take place in post-nuclear Russia. English might not be his first language.Honestly, I would be ashamed if I ever wrote or said anything like that, your grammar is horrific. This is an example of how our schools are failing these children. Sad times.

Let me clean it up a bit for him, he means If Bethesda releases Fallout New Vegas, will they release a second patch to fix up the horrible Ps3 version, cos obviously they ****ed up on the first patch.
Answer is No they wont, but they are releasing GOTY edition of fallout 3 which includes all 5 dlc's, in doing so they will more then likely polish things up a bit to meet the standards of the other two versions.

I was just using Chernobyl as an example, but the game could still take place in the Soviet Union during the 1950's Cold War era (Chernobyl happened in the 80's).Fallout 4 should take place in post-nuclear Russia. The Soviet Union was the other side of what the US was going through during the 50's. The whole situation at the time was due to the West's fear of communism. so I don't see why it couldn't happen. I know it probably won't, but it could work.have you ever had this wild idea that america aint the only country on the planet?

I swear to god if they don't fix their RETARDED animation system (I don't even understand how such an amazing developer would make such a retarded move...) I'm going to be so choked...i think if they make another fallout games it shouldnt be just one location i would say attleast have europe the americas, and the middle east in post apocalyptic wasteland
Fallout 4 will be released in 2010, is that right ? If that is the case, I would be shocked because I have not seen images of it and it takes time to create something so massive like Fallout 3. So, it makes more sense that it will be released in 1st quarter of 2011 but q4 of 2010 would be nice!

Fallout 4 isn't New Vegas
Just to let you know Fallout: New Vegas is confirmed by the head of bethesda to be a standalone game but it is not a sequel to Fallout 3 it just takes place in the same Fallout universe. THey have also commented on Fallout 4 saying they have bought the name for it because they plan on making Fallout 4 in the future and turning it into a franchise like The Elder Scrolls but when they're developing it, if they are already developing it or what platforms it would end up being on wasn't stated.
Don't forget Project V13, but that's another whole can of worms.
When Interplay (origional creators of Fallout)sold the IP to Bethesda they made sure to get the licence rights to the MMORPG. On conditions that development must begin within 24 months of the date of the agreement (April 4, 2007), and Interplay must secure $30 million within that time frame or forfeit its rights to license. Interplay must furthermore launch the MMOG within 4 years of the beginning of development, and pay Bethesda 12 percent of sales and subscription fees for the use of the IP.
On April 2, 2009 Interplay announced a binding letter of intent with Masthead Studios, a Bulgarian-based developer, to fund the development of Project V13. Masthead and Interplay teams will work together under the direction and control of Interplay to complete development of the project.
On April 15, 2009, it was announced that Bethesda Softworks moved to rescind the Fallout MMORPG license. Interplay received notice from Bethesda that it intends to terminate the trademark license agreement, claiming that Interplay is in breach of the agreement for failure to commence full scale development by April 4, 2009 and to secure certain funding for the game. Interplay disputes these claims.
On July 15, 2009 Interplay's Project V13 developer Chris Taylor posted a reply on the Interplay website "Project V13" Forum thread refuting the claims that Interplay lost the rights to the Fallout MMORPG.
So if Interplay does still hold the licence rights to the MMORPG it should have started development by now and we should see it within 4 years. Rumors of 2011.
