I pre-ordered all the games im definitely getting, but i got enough for atleast one more and cant decide which one to get . F2 is already getting good reviews and looks crazy, but i havent played the previous ones ..on the other hand Cod is always great, but im not too excited bout it being in WWII again, but it still looks good, and we already kno how the online is, so what yall think?
COD WaW looks like yet another generic WW2 game. Far Cry 2 is making tons of new innovations. Realistically destructible weapons, a huge free roaming open world, the creative use of fire, dynamic weather. Its gonna be the best shooter this year. COD 5 looks to be lame.
Unless you're buying Killzone or something then you'll need a good online shooter, Far Cry 2 looks like a good SINGLE PLAYER FPS although World at War will probably be far better online.
Get Far Cry 2. CoDWaW is basically a re-skinned CoD4 imo, and Far Cry 2 looks absolutely amazing.pyromaniac223
I've been playing the beta for World at War, and while it is similar in many ways to CoD4, it is in no way just a reskinned game; there are more perks, different modes (War, Capture the Flag, etc), different support powers, vehicles, etc....
Aside from the new content, the game just plays differently; its a bit slower of a pace than CoD4, and doesn't feel at all like the run and gun sprayfest CoD4 is.
Oh, and TJSAGE, there aren't red dot scopes, but they have Aperture Scope, which is basically the same thing (World War II version)
Well i would have to say accourding to gamespot news that call of duty moderen warfare 2 well be coming out sometime fall 2009 i would have to say farcry 2 becuase ive heard cod waw isnt as good as cod 4 so i would just wait for cod mw2 so youll have better weapons and stuff
From what I was able to see COD: WaW looks to be exactly like COD4. IMO I like how FC2 is looking and am prob. going to be picking up the game within the next month, I mean you get to F--- people up with a machete and you are in the jungle!!! Sounds and looks good. I would and will go with FC2.
Well I have to say, I found FC1 online to be one of the most fun online games I've ever played with the construction system and destructibility of bases. If FC2 has a mode similar to this then I'm sorted hehe. COD4 was okay in short bursts online, but even with all the maps out of the box, it got tired after about level 20 online and I just felt like I was playing a very restricted shooter.
