To be honest, I wouldnt be surprised if MGS4 was ported to the Xbox 360 but rebuilding MGS4 into a 360 port would be extremely difficult so dont hold your breath. FF13 was like the last game I would think that would be released into a multiplatform. I'm over it but I feel kinda bad for Sony fans. I, myself own both systems and I still think exclusives should remain exclusives. I know it's a business thing but whatever happened to honor and loyalty? And dont give me that money talks, line. :PElann2008

To bad it does lol. I really could care less. I just want a freaking RPG besides Oblivion to play on my ps3. Im not really into folklore so scratch that lol.

To add to my comment above. Square Enix had Sony fans fooled for a while. Obviously, FF13 was being developed for the Xbox 360 and PS3, at the same time. There's no way this was a last minute change because it would take another year or more to build a 360 version ground up. Consider this, espionage! :PElann2008

I have no doubt there were plans for the game to go to the 360 at least going back to the MS RPG conference in Jaapn last month or whenever but work has not started on the 360 version at all. They will start porting the game after the Japanese PS3 release and not before. I just hope that it means the PS3 version will be all it can be and not be constricted by multi platform release. I would hate to see the game get tonned donw on the PS3 in a any way because of the 360 version. I just wish they'd announce a Japanese release date already so I know when I'll get to buy the thing.

I AM quite positive that Sony knew about this though, why else would they have made that "exclusives don't matter to us anymore, it's all about 1st party" statement? At least the game is still exclusive to Japan, that's what really counts for Sony.

say whatever. Doesnt hurt my feelings...but it seems that anything being solely released for the PS3 apparantly finds it way to another system. In my opinion I just lost a great reason to own and to be called a PS3 owner in the first place. I really dont see all exclusives moving to something else as "great news". If this happens why did we buy something in this system in the first place.

Thats like being able to buy a certain type of weed in England, but comes to find out that you could have bought the same weed in America for nearly half the price. It kinda makes you sick. (just an example, guys)

resistance,littlebigplanet,and killzone 2 are ALL owned by sony, it means it will NEVER go to another console just like how M$ owns halo.

OMG!!!! You people need to get over yourselves....just because FF is going to the 360 doesn't mean that the ps3 is done. Now if this news came out a year ago then we might be justified in our worrying but the installed base is much bigger now.Sony has to much momentum going their way now.

well make things better, I own all of the next gen systems. So I can say that I played the Wii, 360 and PS3. And I have nothing to complain about....right....wrong.

Whwn it comes to 3rd party developers there is no such things as exclusive because they want to make alot of games that were once the 360 made its way to the PS3. So when it comes down to 3rd parties aren't to anybody just the green.

stop whining. Theres plenty of games coming to the ps3 and as long as you can play them on your ps3 why should you care if the xbox gets the same game?

After the FFXIII incident and after witnessing how far Microsoft would go, my respects to Mr.Kojima went from 100/100 to 10000000000000000000000000/100. Seriously the man is loyal to his fans and didn't give up to Microsoft, despite the 10000s rumors of MGS4 going to the 360, he was always there to debunk such worthless rumors. Mr.Kojima is truly one of a kind, quality before money. Thank you Mr.Kojima, you are a true PATRIOT! :D

People are acting like the ps3 has no use anymore?

What about when dev's start pushing the ps3 and realise they can't port there games because the 360 just won't do what the ps3 does, I believe Hideo Kojima said something similar.

PEOPLE I said it once and will say it again we still get FF13 (probably better version at that) and exclusive versus. There are still many other PS3 exclusives that are coming and some yet to be announced

To the topic maker, there are simple reasons why you got a ps3 instead of a 360.

Because the propect of what this piece of hardware can do in the future is exciting and breath taking, a small glimps is MGS4.

Because you're not getting milked everytime you sign into PSN, because its free.

And latestly because you bought something that isn't owned by Microsoft.

You obviously don't know much. Sony own the rights to LittleBig Planet, Resistance 2 and God of War, so its impossible for them to go the 360. MGS4 is possible as its a 3rd party title, however its unlikely considering the Sony and Apple products advertised in the game. Anyway, if you need a reason heres some:
