There is a single player story mode that is about 6 chapters/battles long. There is also a single player gladiate mode in which you try to survive wave after wave of enemies. But the bulk of the fun is to be had in multiplayer mode. It's a pretty fun and cute game but get's kinda boring after a few days. I think there is a demo of it on one of the stores. You should try it out.
