Favorite 2008 PS3 game NOT named MGS4?

I know almost everyone's vote for 2008 GOTY was MGS4, so I thought it would be interesting to see what your favorite game was that isn't Metal Gear Solid 4. I would have to say GTA IV (don't say it sucked).

To be honest i really loved Mirrors Edge (i'm still playing it, on my 4th play through going for Pro Runner and Packrat) It would have been a tie between Persona 4 and that (instead of MGS4) Skate was my GOTY last year, and i'm sure this year Skate 2 will be my GOTY (although Killzone 2 will probably 1up it)americahellyeah

My favourite 2008 PS3 game is Dead Space because of its amazing storyline , terrifying sounds , and gruesome visuals

totally agree i thought it wud be crap but i played it and i funkin loved it so id pick dis or resistance 2

2008 game which isn't MGS 4. Ok simple Dead Space it was a good example of a Survival horror done well, sure it is short however I feel it works like a short horror film. Once you have seen it, you can go and re watch it (or in this case replay) the game time and time again.

i know some of you might disagree but im gonna go for GTA4 its a good game with some downs but it definately has more ups.
