Favorite class in Bad Company 2.

What is your favorite class in Bad Company 2?

I'm pretty far as an assault, though recon looks fun, I just wanted to hardest hitting weapons.

As much fun as I have with Recon... I have to choose Assault. So so much fun. Sometimes as Assault (M1A1 Thompson equipped) I will use the C4 instead of the Grenade Launcher -- love being the one to piss off enemy tank drivers.Necrofeel619

Same here, was the one i used the most, assault was probably my least favorite.

Medic is my favorite.. I owned like 6 guys at one time will a full clip on hardcore once. And the keep respawning inthe same spot. LOL!

Picking BC2 up saturday (god help the store if they don't have it.) but from the demo, Medic. I was a badass Medic, one of the few I ever saw who would actually attempt to run in the open, revive a dude, then get back under cover. Other Medics I played with/against just seemed to never switch to the paddles unless a teammate happened to die right next to them. Laziness. I'm always Medic if defending.

For attacking, again, usually Medic, but I enjoy Assault and Engineer as well. If Engineer then I'm usually the dude sitting behind the tank constantly drilling, if Assault, I go huntin'.

I hate smg's in COD, but I love being the engineer in BCBC2, I like all the guns, i just tend to be engineer the most, but as of now, im trying to level them up all equally.

c4 is actually amazing

mortar strike takes out clusters of vehicles

long range scopes/ghille suit

I chose medic because it gets you the most XP points. Engineer does too, but I don't like going around looking for stuff to fix, plus the gun is crap when it comes to long range (plus it has a small clip).

M249 SAW FTW!

It depends on the situation, I work fine with anything that will benefit me or my team the most.

Assault and medic

Engineer, I love making one capture flag my defense point and raping vehicles.

The joy you get when you kill a tank with a mine and all the points that comes with it is awesome.

Engineer it' s the perfect class I can kill infantry from a fair distance with the AKS74u, blow up vehicles and use my tracer dart to make destroying vehicles easier.

Assault. I love to use the grenade launcher to blow holes in walls and then throw down an ammo crate to restock and do it again :P

Medic, powerful guns, being able to take out more people at once, reviving others and healing is win IMO.

I run engineer for the most part. Good range on primary weapons plus I like repairing vehicles and firing rockets.

I just have to say the fact that this poll isn't lopsided is just a testament to how balanced the classes are and how well designed the game is.

As for me, I voted Recon but that's only what I've been playing mostly in the demo. When I was in the Beta Engineer was my favorite, but each class definitely has its place. I definitely play differently depending on which class I am which is precisely the point. If my squad is rushing in to defend or attack an area and I'm waiting to respawn I'll say, "What do you need right now?" Short on ammo? Assault. Low on health and getting killed? Medic. Need vehicle repaired or to take one out? Engineer. Need to clear out an area / mark some guys from a distance or take out a tank? Recon.

The great thing about this game is if you get good with each class you can get used to switching out on the fly to whatever your team needs most. Definitely a fun and rewarding system.

Kinda reminds me of Team Fortress 2 :) except you can't blow holes in the side of buildings...

Shotguns cool. all based off map game style and team progression or objectives though.

Medic for me. I enjoy resurrecting teammates and I can hold my own quite well with machine gun.

I do mix the classes once in a while for some verity of course. ;)

Assault for killing and Medic if i want to hang back and get points. (Voted Assault)

Useda shotgun for the first time while defending, very effective
