favorite non sequel ps3 game

a friend asked me what i thought the best non sequel game this year was and i had a hard time figuring it out. i want to know what you think is the best non sequel game for the ps3? i don't really have an opinion, since almost all the games i have for ps3 are sequels. The only one I've played that isn't is Resistance Fall of Man.

ps. also don't include any lisecensed products such as movies or tv shows.

Uncharted has to be the best. Hopefully there will be a sequel at some point. Heavenly Sword was awesome as well. I don't think that Resistance can be in this category since the sequel is about to come out.

Uncharted Drake's Fortune , it is a must play ps3 game. It is rated T for Teen , so there is no excuse not to play it.

i would say games that have sequels coming later are acceptable. but resistance was an orginal game on the ps3, so it could count.

As everyone else is saying it is Uncharted...that is until Bioshock gets released. Any who have not played it should, it is a great game. Also Rockband deserves and honorable mention.

The best original IP to come on on PS3 so far is definitely "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune". It is such a superior game compared to almost everything else out on the market. Looks great, plays great, and has an interesting story to keep you interested.

Pixel Junk Monsters is an incredibly addictive game too...

Even after finishing this game twice, i have come back again for Trophies. And come back to it everytime i want to show my PS3 off to nonbeleivers :D lol (along with mgs4)

I must also say that The Darkness gets an honorable mention.
