Favorite PSP game of all time?

Now that the PS Vita has rolled in, and game development for the PSP has almost ceased, I think we should all take the time to look back on the best games we've all played for the PSP. :).

I think my favorite PSP game of all time would have to be Patapon. It took such a unique spin to the music/rhythm genre, and it implemented RPG and war elements into the game, such a fun and awesome title.

Persona 3 Portable

Valkyria Chronicles II. I sank so many hours in to that game!

Ridge Racer(My first PSP game at launch)

I must have a good few hundred hours in that game. 

Crush, a puzzle/platform game from Zoe Mode (now Kuju) and SEGA. Incredibly inventive level design, excellent core game mechanics, challenging puzzles, humorous story, incredible soundtrack, and it oozes visual styIe.famicommander

Yeah I would have to say patapon 3. Such a unique game.

Valkyria Chronicles 2 is my favourite game over all consoles.

That. Though I haven't beaten the game yet...I've just returned to Iska after revisiting all the dungeons (and I'm super over-leveled)...I really should get around to it. This is the second time I've stopped at this point, and I'm not starting over again. I don't like that all the elders join my party, I was fine with the trio.

Great game, though. Very Secret-of-Mana-esque with better bosses (on hard). I just wish another player could join in.

Ys 7, PSP2 and Gran Turismo (so sue me) top out my list of most-played PSP games.

Well, unless you count the Sega Genesis Collection, which in my book is alone worth the PSP purchase.

Patapon for me, great game, challenging yet crazy fun and addictive.hyperjj3000

I love you for saying VC2. I wish they would bring VC3 over dammit...

Anyway, Persona 3 and Lumines were also mega favs of mine.

My best award goes to Metal Gear Ac!d 2.

Also, I must mention that Valkyria Chronicles 2, the two Dissidias and everything else made by Kojima were awesome and unforgettable.

Seems like a lot of people here played Valkryia Chronicles 2 on the PSP.... man you guys are awesome :P. I always thought of Valkryia Chronicles as a sleep hit, and was underappreciated. 

I remember liking Death Jr.

I was young when I had it though, so I don't really remember.

for me it is resistance retribution followed closely by gtavc& vc2.

Crisis core or War of the lions for me.

Crisis Core and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite are by far the best games on the PSP (also very high in my list of top games). Most other games are IMO boring turn-based anime games (aka. JRPGs, and I hate JRPGs, they're generic), but these games were awesome. Crisis Core had the best storyline I've ever seen, some pretty awesome characters and the turn-based-real-time combat was a good and very well executed idea. Zack is easily the best FF character ever making Cloud look like an emo teen in front of him.

MHFU is the only PSP game with a proper running animation where you aren't floating or running crazily. The 4-player part was really fun with friends, although nowadays you have to use Adhoc Party to play online. Crafting, real-time combat, perfect difficulty and so many different weapon types with really gorgeous graphics makes this the best gameplay I've seen on the PSP.

I still play games on my PSP and haven't yet played a game which can touch these two.

Too many to even name. But towards the end I played this FPS game called '[something something]: contagian'. It's multiplayer was fun fun fun. :-)

Of course, there's probably a bunch of JRPG's I rotated to and from. I think Monster Hunter 2G was the one I always gravitated towards. Shame about VITA not having one, but I hear God Eater, Toukiden, and PSO2 are filling the gap for now.

It's a close tie between Peace Walker and Power Stone Collection. Power Stone Collection basically just featured ports of one of my favorite series' of all time. I had a few friends to play it with that were around when I played the originals on the dreamcast so that made it extra fun. If you haven't heard of the series it's like capcoms attempt at smash bros but with stages that continually change and a few new mechanics.

And Peace Walker needs no description. It's an amazing game.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. Probably the best game that I've ever played, not for the gameplay but for the experience and the way that the story and the characters were all connected leading to one of the best games of all time - Final Fantasy VII.

So many good memories - Ridge Racer, NFSURivals, Burnout Legends, Hotshots Golf 2, Pangya Fantasy Golf I couldn't pick just one!!
