Favourite Tekken characters, and why?

Ok so i bet there's been plenty of posts about this in the past but with Tekken 6 approaching, slowly but surely, I wanna know who your favourite charactersare and why? Throw in your favourite moves too

Mine is Steve Fox coz of his awesome dodges and speed, and that him being a boxer was something completely new coming from Tekken 3 and into 4. Ilove the 'cheap shot' in Tekken 4 as well as 'sonic fang.' Pity his accent is so crappy!! (Guv'nor).

Hwoerang.. love the way taekwando looks and he is so easy to play with.

Jin kazama: once you nail the 10 hit combos you nail the opponent

Lei wu long

EDIT: I use him because he has alot of fighting styles and the juggling possibilities are great, he also has some strong kicks that cause the other player to kinda fall back leaving them open for an attack, plus he can lay down at will to duck under other attacks.

If i don't use lei, I usually use Paul, one punch 75% health gone.

Heihachi because I can destroy my friends with him, although I believe his lack of quick low attacks and less-than-stellar juggles keep me from an elite level with him.

Otherwise, bring the Kazuya!

My favourites are Lee Chaolan and Hworang for their awesome kicks.

My favourite move with Lee is the Acid Storm.

My favourite move with Hwoarang is the Firecracker or Hunting Hawk.

I've been all about Paul Phoenix since Tekken 2.

I've also played as Jin, Brian and although I've not played Dark Resurrection much, I'm liking Sergei Dragunov a lot.

King and Hwoerang all the way, then probably yoshimistu and armoured king.

Nina Williams: fast, kicks hard, has counters and some interesting grabs plus she has nice legs :P

I love his moveset, I use to always pull off the attack where he steps forward real quick like he was about to attack, and then quickly hops back, and from there you can choose to do nothing, or if the opponent fell for it and attacked, you can really quick do a jump kick that they never see coming.

King is my favorite. Has been since the very first Tekken. I work his 10-hit combos like none other.

I tend to favor girls in fighting games, and she just seemed to be pretty accessable as a character.

I'd have to go with Lee; I just like his fighting style. Not that it makes a difference since everyone is kicking my ass online; I really suck at T5. :(jt4mtb

Heh, yea. Let me assure you: it hasn't gotten any better. Yet somehow, I've ranked up to 5th kyu... no idea how. Don't even feel like I've earned it.

Brian FURYYYY!

Mostly because of that name, best... name... evahh!

But also because i love his straight kickboxing style, pwns the opponent if you can use it well

and heihachi mishima, slower than most, but if used well can devestate the opponent.

Also a fan of Hwoarang (my girlfriend is a blackbelt in taekwondo.... i know how much it can hurt :()

Yea. I just picked up T5: DR Online about a week ago, and there's still a bunch of people playing it. While I have both Tekken and SCIV, as much as I suck I still enjoy Tekken more.

As for the inferior comments, that's a matter of opinion. However, it says something when Tekken is still played in big fighting game tourneys (like Evo and SBO), while SC hasn't seen a big tourney in years.

I'm pretty sure I don't lose at life, but you're welcome to take the pepsi challenge with me any day. I like Tekken, but my opinion is that it pales in comparison to Soul Calibur.

Firstly, Lili cos' she hot and a very good fighter. My fave move of hers is her throw "The Kiss of Devotion". Love that move. :)

My other fave is Bryan Fury. His name, personality, moves and most importantly, his laugh. Sadly, its retarded in Tekken 6 :( My fave move of his is "Fisherman's Slam". ^^

i would have to say asuka, she just has great moves and they are pretty easy to memorize, plus her moves are pretty effective if u time them in succession.
