Well resistance or the new game tom clancy rainbow six vegas are probably better buys than Fear since fear is apparently short and the multiplayer is not great. I recommend that u buy Resistance or RSV and rent Fear.
I already know I'm getting Vegas, just probably not today because they're probably sold out. Should I get Splinter Cell instead of FEAR? OR I could just get both. Money is good right now.
Well are u looking for FPS games? If u are COD 3 andResistance are good...but if u like racing games Motorstorm...Splinter Cell is that even out for the PS3?
I know FEAR was a blast to play through on my PC, but the PS3 version I guess isn't that great from what I hear. I also hear that Splinter Cell is a very bad port. Knowing how much fun I had with my PC version of FEAR, I would recommend you get FEAR if you haven't played it.
I would reccomend renting it first. I bought it and was not that impressed. It definitely has some framerate issues, I thought the story was pretty lame, and not as scary as I was hoping. The only thing I really liked about it was the good enemy AI. If you just want a good FPS I would recomend RFOM, COD, or The Darkness, which I just bought yesterday and have already put in as much or more time than I put into FEAR.
I've already beaten and traded Fear, but I think Darkness is a better game. I haven't experienced a boring moment while playing Darkness, but almost thought about quitting Fear after fighting the same soldiers over and over again. If they allowed you to fight those invisible creatures more often that would have been nice and added more to the fear aspect.
