So I recently played the demo for FEAR2 and thought it was awesome. The game play was immensly satisfying and gorey just the way I like it.

I seriously havent seen much about this game as its been overshadowed by bigger releases (i.e. Infamous and Killzone2). My question is 1) Hows the multiplayer. Do people play it? Is the gameplay as consistant as single player? With added DLC do you see the lifespan of the multiplayer lasting at least a year or half a year?

Im sorta turning in certain games selling them off and trading and such. Im thinking of just getting rid of Resistance 2 and maybe switching over to Fear2. Can I get some comments about your experiences from the FEAR2 owners out there.

Also, anyone here find FEAR2 to be more enjoyable then KZ2?

The single player campaign is great, but seriously, the multiplayer is rubbish.

But wouldnt the multiplayer just be the same gameplay mechanics as single player? Im just curious how a multiplayer could suck.

Fear and Fear Files were both amazing games. Fear had amazing multiplayer that I played ALOT. Now from the sounds of things Fear 2's multiplayer is not as good and filled with trophy boosters.

I loved the single player! The multiplayer has some potential but sadly its not worth even trying. How bad is the multiplayer? I'd tell you to go try it for yourself, but absolutley no one (who speaks english) plays the multiplayer. Seriously. I got on a Sat. afternoon and there were 4 people on. 1 didn't have a mic, 2 didn't speak english, and the 4th person was me...for 2 hours. I would suggest renting this game for the single player experience. I bought it and I plan on selling it back asap.

In the words of Homer: DOH!

I signed up for a gamefly account and BOUGHT FEAR2 for a total of $35 (shippin included). I thought it was a bargain so I went ahead and got it. But now I see the problem. Its got the Army OfTwo syndrome in which you cant find anyone to play multiplayer with. That totally sucks. And here I was hoping to have bad ass mecha battles with the new mappacks. I wonder now if I should even buy the map pack AND I hope more people buy the game because I saw a youtube video of the frantic "soldier of fortune" esque multiplayer takedowns and I wantss....
