Yea I feel you on that... That is the one reason I like games with good/great stories. I mean sure people say its just a game and get a real life and all that... but truth be told I have a pretty great life, and I have a pretty good social life, but when life gets tough and I need to escape from life's challeges for a little while I love to put myself in charactars shoes from games... like Metal Gear, Devil May Cry, uncharted, onimusha, sam fisher, I mean it is like reading a book and going to a whole new world.
I feel bad when I complete the game, but I get more upset cause I have to wait for a sequel.... Well if it ever comes out
shenmue 3 please

I can compare to you and can agree to almost everythin u said - I have a pretty solid social life, and sometimes, for fun, or for escape, I like getting sucked into a world of a videogame. What i do NOT agree with is feeling bad after completing a game...the emotions that i do feel after completing a game are sad (if the story of a game ended bitter-sweet or tragically), or rewarded/accomplished, or both. I don't ever feel "bad" or "sorry" after finishing a game.
No. I always play games multiple times and have been ever since I started gaming. Never saw the point in paying full price for a game to only play it once. Just because you know the story doesn't mean you can't play it again for the gameplay or maybe to catch more than what you did the first time through. Kind of like reading a book. Pretty hard to get all the details by only reading the book one time. Oh well. That's just me.Devourment423yea, same here
Hey Guys, I was just wondering... Do you guys ever feel bad after beating a game? Let me extrapolate... I just finished Battlefield: Bad Company. And i was devastated because i really liked the characters and after i beat the game, I knew i would never get to see or play those characters ever again (unless i played through the game a couple more times... But what's the point if you know the story). And i am pissed off that i will finish Uncharted: Drake's Fortune soon... So tell me guys. Have you ever felt bad or sad about beating a game?wishbone345
ya i felt kinda sad when i finished fallout 3 because you cant continue the story when the main game is over and i also didnt save before the last mission so i have to start all over again :(
I know what you mean, I've wanted some games to keep going and going... either because the story has dragged me in or due to the action being so addictive. It's like that with a lot of things; e.g. books and films. You're satisfied with the achievement, but you can sometimes feel sad due to that being the end of the story (or the prospect of waiting a year or so to continue with it).
God of War II finished on a bit of a cliff hanger and we've already waited nearly 2 years for that to be concluded :(
