Feels like the PS3 is offering me nothing anymore

Seriously. There are no games that make me wanna have a ps3 anymore. Although ill still be keeping it. I wont get GODIII because the game is not my style, although i liked the demo, but i see no replayability in it. The only shooters i have is SOCOM, K2, and MW2. I cant even play MW2 anymore. The gfx's dont catch my eye, the gameplay is just dull. Maybe its because i've been playing BC2 on my PC alot. Ugh the PC, nicer gfx, and M&K support is pulling me away from my fun with friends on PS3. HELP ME! what can i look forward to?

ps3 has the best exclusives, heavy rain, mlb 10 the show, uncharted 2, mgs4. your just bored, i suggest uncharted 2, best game i played in a while, red dead redemption is a month away

i see you like shooters. if you havent already tried it, try red faction guerilla, thats whats keeping me occupied

Epidsodes of Liberty City, Modnation Racers, Agent (if it manages to come out this year), Red DeadRedemption, Lost Planet 2, True Crime, Sims and the next Call of Dutytitleare only some of the good games yet to be releaesd for this platform :D

just sold my 360 for custom pc build. Halo 3 was fun but frustrating due to OMFG MLGZ I HAZ BR 4 SHOTZ. And gears was good, too buggy tho.

all i have to say is google and research genres that you like and see if any of the coming games interest you, I'm not gonna do the research for you, you have the internet therefore you have google and websites like this one where you can look for yourself.

Maybe take some time off from gaming? There is a ton of other things to do. Gaming should just be 1 of several hobbies you have.

I have been taking my time off with the ps3 and games in genral. Everyday after school i either have practice, or a game. Then i have like 3 hours to play a game. usually i go right to the PC and play for a few, or go here.

You should probably take a break, your probably just bored with gaming in general.

I hear ya, I went through Uncharted 2, Assassin's Creed 2, and Heavy Rain...and am now in a lull.

The last several PSN updates have been incredibly lame, whoever's in charge of picking PS1 games to release should be fired.

Lately, all I've been using my PS3 for is watching Blu-Rays and DVD's, watching The Tester, and playing Street Fighter IV.

Maybe it is time for a break.

I think you're just burnt out on gaming in general. I go to school full-time and I work 40hrs. Whenever I have free time, I fire up the PS3 and play MW2 for HOURS! You should see the stupid grin on my face. I look like a kid on Christmas!

If you feel like you aren't enjoying your PS3 anymore you shouldn't feel like you need to play it. Stick with your PC if that's what interests you more. You can either sell your PS3 or wait to see if any games come out for it that interest you. Its your decision.

This sounds like more of a blog me thinks. Seriously, If you want help that bad on looking for games, you're definitely barking up the wrong tree. You should be looking yourself and seeing what makes you happy with gaming in general. No one can make you happy except yourself.

Topics like these are utter trash. Ever since fall of 09, the PS3 has had a lot of stuff come out in a short time. Demons souls, Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Clank, MAG, White Knight Chronicles, God of War 3, Heavy Rain, Battlefield Bad Company, Final Fantasy, Yakuza 3, and Star Ocean. Mod Nation Racers, 3D Dot Game Heroes Trinity Universe, and Atelier Rorona are coming in summer along with, Gran Turismo 5, Resistance 3? and Socom 4 in the fall. The PS3 has had more solid exclusives come out in the past 6 months than the other systems. In May the other systems will get the upper hand, but still, Sony has made a remarkable turn around as far as releasing software. If you hate all those games mentioned, then I can't really help you and neither can anyone else. Most of the games mentioned hit every genre except fighter and puzzle basically, so it's not sony's fault if you have limited tastes. The games you mentioned all fall into the shooter category, so I can only assume that you like those type of games more.

I disagree that a break from gaming is the answer here. Perhaps you should simply attempt to broaden your horizons w/ your game choices. Go out and rent a few that have either received grand player feedback or critical acclaim, even if they didn't strike your fancy through previews / reviews / or what have you. If you're looking for recommendations, though the wrong forum, I suggest a bit of Demon's Souls, LittleBigPlanet, MLB '10 the Show (exclusives) or perhaps some Just Cause 2, Assassin's Creed 2, ormaybe wait for Red Dead Redemption (multiplats).

Now, once in a blue moon I hanker for something new and I even occasionally consider 360ing it up because of lulls in games I am interested in, but then I decide to reach outside my own box and find myself happily surprised. Example, I generally don't enjoy first-person games of any sort, but Borderland ended up being a fantastic gaming experience (just as Fallout 3 did). I suggest trying something different. Mix it up a bit. Get drunk and play a game. Enjoy a pipe and play a game. Try playing a game w/ friends and pals...drunk on the pipe. Idk, try something....something different than you.

Seems to me FPS is your most played genre (and the most talked about and the one with the most games released), I think it's your major problem and they're about the same for years (except Bioshock). So maybe check other genres, like Prince of Persia, Valkyria chronicles, Little big planet, Pure, Arkham asylum, White knight chronicles ...

Exactly, I have no idea what your talking about. Even final fantasy 13 is better on the ps3.

Try a different genre of game you haven't played before. I was sick to death of FPS games, so I got into racing games, and it wasn't long before I was totally addicted to them. I also tried an RPG for the first time and really liked it, so now I'm looking for another one to get started on.

I think it has enough exclusives to keep us all interested....

Try getting a game you normally wouldnt.You said you like 1st person shooters... so try a puzzle game. I likedDevel may cry 4 ,just shop around or rent till u find 1 u like
