FF Dissidia: How to level up?

Hi all,

I started playing dissidia recently, and I chose Cecil as character. Played his "story" mode, and obtained his crystal at level 11.

I read you can level up characters to 99... but how? What should I play now to keep leveling the character if the "story" ends when I'm just level 11?!

I'm confused...

every story playthrough is worth 10 levels.

all right dude the best way to level up is play the story mode twice followed by shde impluse after beating the game u will unlock 3 more story mode which i

have done by using squall which max at level 100
