Keep in mind, I love both the FF and GoW series and no doubt I'll definitely be buying both these games but I only have enough for one as I'm short on cash and would take awhile to have again. So I'm thinking FF XIII seeing as it'll keep me busy much longer than GoW III. But then again, GoW III looks amazing. Hmmmm, what road to take?

I'm a huge fan of both, I got FF when it came out and played that but then GoW came out and I bought that and I ended beating that before FF lol...now im beating FF before I go back to GoW again...I'd probably go with GoW...amazing, epic, brutal, Kratos is badass.

Final Fantasy XIII. I'm verypartial to this series though. I haven't played much of GoW 3 yet just the demo but it does look awesome.

I bought them both GoW i bought at the midnight release. Like the quoted person had said i agree partially. GoW will last 8-10 hours your first playthrough if you play on "normal mode' and even after the normal mode playthrough u unlock several things @ the end including costumes a new mode challenges and you can polay through the game again with your unlockables u got while playing through the first time so there is def some replay value. As for FF 13 you would be getting the most bang for your buck here. 50+ dollars = 50+ hours your first playthrough. FF 13 isnt really like the other final fantasys however so be aware of that at least. You can't really go wrong either way to be honest. I beat GoW still playing through FF 13 although i keep putting it down for other games i currently have i think that they may have spread the game a bit thing at the start. You dont get the paradigm system for 2 hours.... you dont get your first summon/eidolon thing till 4 hours in... etc etc so at the start the game is a bit of a drag. I will continue playing it though i love final fantasy games this one just isnt hooking me right at the start like normal.

Flip a coin. That'll make deciding much easier.

well u see here i just bought ff and had to play 10 hours on the first day. compared to the other final fantasy games this one is hands down my favourite. i fell in love with 10 but this one just has a nice combination of ff7, ff10, ff12. so i would play ff but that is coming from one who has never given GoW a great chance. but u will defiantly not be disappointed with this choice.

I got FF, and it just drags on forever and ever, I eventually got bored, bought killzone 2 and beat that game in under 10 hours.

Well, ganna probably be another 10 or more hours to get the FF ending scene, which is my only insentive to continue since I was playing it so long I actually got attached to the main characters.
