I heard alot of good things about this game and I was just wondering if it was worth going out and buying. Like what are some cool things that are inside this game?

I havent got the chance of playing this game yet. But from what i heard and seen it looks like a very well done final fantasy tactics game with good graphics and strong stragety. So i think its a great thing to pick up if you like final fantasy games.

you remember the games of yore, where the games were so fantastic you couldnt stop thinking about it.

the games where you dreamt of what to do to beat that level you couldnt beat the first 14 times.

the games where even though you lost those 14 times, you thanked the game for difficulty rather thangetting infuriated and damageing your system.

the games where it was always "five more minutes" every hour?

this is the first psp title to do that for me. in fact, it is only the third portable title and maybe the tenth title overall to do that to me.

but maybe im biased. i am a sucker for tactics tiles. but in my opinion, if you liked ANY tactics game (fft for the psx, tactics ogre, even civilization) you will LOVE this game.

end story and rant

Its quite a complex SRPG, theres a hell of alot of customisation for characters, the story is fairly deep - what you would expect from a final fantasy game to be sure.

Graphics are ok - I have no problem with the 2d characters and basic lookingmaps but the sound wise,it is much better with a good soundtrack.

Its also huge and will last along time if you can bear with it and have patience - the game has a slow pace and is hard to get to grips with at first, and the battles are tough - definetely challenging but not frustratingly so - after beating certain missions I found FFT to bea rewarding game and one of the better PSP titles out there.

I got this game last Friday. I have never played the it the first time when it was out on the PS1, so this was god sent to me. The story line is pretty solid, and deep. The battle play is challenging, makes you think. If you don't think your moves through you'll end up dieing, i know because i've lost two battles and ended up turning it off, just so i can not make that mistake again. Alot of jobs for your own pleasures, and customizations. Two new jobs added in this PSP title, Onion Knight and Dark Knight, two very powerful jobs added. There is a multiplayer mode, but Ad-Hoc so you can play coopertively with your friends, and get items. Now heres what i don't like about the game. You can't take back your move once you have moved a space(s). The camera angle can get annoying, if there is a building or a tree infront of it and you can't see what your doing. Thats about it really, alot of more PROs then CONs. I'd recomended this game to any people who likes tatics games, but if you first just started playing this game. Read through the Tutorial provided in the games start menu, it's very detailed and long, and tells you just about everything you need to know. Hope this helps out your decision to buy. :)
