Yay! I actually haven't been fortunate enough to play the original PSX Final Fantasy VII, so I'm currently playing it on my PC, I'm at where you're bring Aeris back to her house when you first met her. (I'm not very far, am I? lol)
So hearing this game having a good score is great with me, because after I finish FFVII, I'm off to get Crisis Core. Or I might wait until Christmas to see if it'll go GH (Greatest Hits).

You got a long way to go, but it's an awesome road.
well...FF:CC for the NDS only got a 7.5 here. So FF7 CC for the psp will most probaly get AA score.joeychew
Um.. what??? Two way different games on two WAY different handhelds...
It could get a 1 and I'll still get it. I am a sucker for all things FFVII (I still have nightmares about Dirge, sight) if anything because Zack's story is an important part of the world of VII. Even if just a flashback, Zack was an important element of VII.C-Himura
I loved Dirge, it was awesome in everyway. Great story, great graphics, great gameplay, and you get to play as vincent...there was nothing bad about the game really. I'm still not sure why it was received so poorly. I played that game non-stop until finish...I just couldn't put it down.

Well, nothing with Dirge was broken, but nothing was great either. Is a game that does enough to escape mediocrity. My biggest disappointment was how Vincent controlled. You're supposed to be a badass, agile guy, and it really feels like you are controlling a tank character, which Vincent is far from. The story was ok, but later on in the it started devolving into something taken straight out of the Matrix. Not to mention it screwed up the entire encounter between Vincent and Lucrecia in FFVII.
Is not a terrible game, but compare to the source material, I doesn't even live up to it one bit.
