FF7 on the Psn

will it have something special about it, because I still have my original ps1 version

The something special will be the ability to play it on the PSP. If you don't feel the need to get it though, then save yourself the 10 bucks. I'd still get it though just in case something ever happened to my original disc.

Better graphics for sure. It is hard to look at the old versions of it.

well the graphics dont have to be a complete overhaul, i think he meant a touchup i think putting battle toons for walkin around the world would be ideal. its defintely not hard at all

A 'touchup' would be a major undertaking. The ENTIRE game would have to be changed, no matter how slight a change it was, except for upscaling, like they did with SEGA's games from the genesis. I won't be surprised if there is upscaling, but changed music and graphics...that's asking for it.

lol well i didnt think it would be happenin, just a hope. also i say it because i've seen it done with people modding the PC version (the battle toons walking in the world i mean), well only the release will tell us what will definitely happen. But in reality its probably going to be just a direct port, except for that upscaling like you said

Yea, PC mods are great, I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to do, but you would have to record new music, which is where the difficult part comes in, that costs money. So, probably no battle TUNES.

I just finished FF7 about a week ago.. Killed both weapons and put just under 70 hours into it.. Cant see myself going through it again for a while..:(

yah they don't have to remake it at all, just make it hd compatible so the image isn't streched and jaggy.
