FF7 Question!

Dont his limits never turn off until the battle is over?

first off, yuffie is the most hated charecter in the ff7 universe. Second vincent probbably has the best limit breaks in the whole game. So yes, vincent. Him or Tifa.pappa-ray

The best party you can make, if you just want super power is Cloud, Barret and xxx (cant say his name cause you still havent got it/him/her).

My party is Cloud, the charater you dont have and Vincent, cause Im a big fan of Vincent. Now, Vincents Limits are crap in the later game, but are really handy in the early stages, since he hits hard, and heals completely when doing so. His final weapon, is kind of weak, unless you learn to use it and it can take a lot of time to make it hit 9999. Any character you use should be enough, since the game is not hard at all and you can make all of them whatever you want them to be. The only difference comes from where does their final weapon gets their power from, be it MP, HP, enemies killed, etc.

My suggested team would be CLoud vincent and red, but if you want a girl in there, swap red for tiffa,

Honestly, other than Cloud (who you can't drop anyway), it doesn't matter who you use. I say use who you want, because other than the last couple of optional bosses (Weapons), nothing is really gonna be intensive to your team. On those last bosses, it still won't matter, because your limit breaks will just get you killed if you try and use them (other than Cloud) instead of summoning. For anything other than those fights, however, the most powerful group is Cloud, Cid and XXX.

Cloud, not just because you have to have him, but because he's ridiculously overpowered in all aspects. Cid because he's about as strong as Barret, but has a far superior final Limit Break. XXX because he's the most powerful magic user, but I personally never used him because in regular, non-boss fights, I like to have strong melee characters. My main group usually (beat it 3-4 times, although been a few years since the last time) ended up being Cloud, Tifa and Red XIII. Really, I guess the main reason is because you have all these three from really early on, so I kind of just stuck with them. Tifa is almost as powerful as Barret/Cid and Red XIII is a well-rounded character. They are all three pretty good in melee for trash fights.

Again though, I will just say try them all out and decide for yourself which are better. Again, the only thing that is really difficult is the last two optional bosses, and you can use anyone for those fights, because you will need to be near maxed in all aspects (level, materia, ...time).
