I just started playing the online today, and seriously, it's brutal. Not allowing players to try again after failing a wave just seems kinda lame, and of the 4 or 5 games I played, only ONCE did my squad get to round 10 and win. The closest i came after that was a failure on round 10. And mind you, this was all on the bronze difficulty setting. I can't even freaking imagine what Gold must be like.

I know that there will be many responses to the tune of "It's easy, you just suck" or "My friends and I beat it all no problem", and I hope that those kids get a nice big nerdgasm from lying to boost their own ego, but can someone level with me here? This is definitely the hardest cooperative experience I have played (with the exception of Dark Souls).

What difficulty are you playing on? And what class/weapons are you using?

I've really enjoyed the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer. Thats the point, once you all die its game over. Time to try again. If they gave you endless chances it wouldn't be as good.

I don't know what you are doing wrong but there must be something. I've never won a round in silver or gold but in bronze my winning ratio is at least 80%. Assuming you have a full squad. Doing it alone is very hard indeed.

Yes, we had a full squad, and please let me point something out: It wasn't anything that I did alone. Maybe I'm not the best player, but there are three other people on the damn team (and I was never in last place in terms of score), so it's like I and I alone was bringing us down. But seriously, every time I had a full squad, and except for that one game, we lost every time...

Fair point, but I guess after years and years of Gears of War, I am used to failing a wave and getting another chance to beat it.

Your squad shouldn't split up at all, me3 co op needs serious cooperation, personally, I've never gotten past the 5th wave on gold, i was surprised i even got that far, it's downright brutal. Do you have all the weapons unlocked and what classes do you play with? I used to rock the krogan soldier and i would fxck everyone's shyt up with melee attacks.

What difficulty are you playing on? Gold is legitimately VERY difficult, Silver is pretty tough, but Bronze is so easy.

Why is everyone asking what difficulty he is playing on? That doesnt matter, what does matter is what level he is and what class... each class is better suited to different weapons. The infiltrator class is best suited for sniper rifle and smg, whereas the vanguard is best for close combat. I've do agree with the rest of you saying that gold is hard, i have only done it once against the geth, and oh my that was tough, took about 31 minutes i think? Sounds like the TC needs a better squad :)

well that's odd, were you playing with the same team all 5 times? if so, then maybe you just got a bad team, because bronze isn't all that challenging. and what class/weapons are you using? the best thing you can do is stick together, you'll quickly get overwhelmed if you split up

that must be more of a strategic game. it would not be hard if you just focus on the teamwork, on how you would move as team. :)

Welcome to the world of horde-type survival co-op. It's like that in all games, Gears, Uncharted, Mass Effect, Call of Duty, etc. And I found ME3's online to be quite fun.
