I think Final Fantasy XIV should be a tribute of sorts to the style of FF IX. I mean I like the way the graphics look for those last FF games (trying to look human-like and with lots of technological wonders), but I'd love to see a new one with the graphical & story style of FF IX (a more magical & innocent enviroment with less technology involved).
i got a better idea they should remake ff 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 cuz i think ps3 could make it like 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times better u know if this hasn't happend by the time im 26 ima do it myself.lol
now IX by far my favorite FF. id be extremely happy if they mada a remake but again no big deal. and its definetly the greatest FF to grace any sysytem IMO.
But what if the developers at Square Enix are on purpose saying that. To hold off the media. I mean it will be the biggest news in the industry if Enix confirms it. who knows if enough fans demand a remake they might make it. Plus it will be awesome for gamers like me who never got the chance to play FFVII.
oh well i guess u have to pray and hope they think about remaking after FFXIII i guess until then you'll have to wait for alongtime. FFVII had the best story of them all it was prehaps one of the best games with the best stories ever that i've played my whole life it is just unforgetable and that you could play all the way through the whole story again it since that game is that good. oh well for now i guess FFVII crisis core is one me list for the time being with FFXIII.
I like VIII more than IX =/ But VII was just godlike when it was released, it had the biggest impact in gaming history, and a remake would be worthless, it is perfect the way it is.

A real remake with improved storylines from I to VI would be sweet thoughÂ
first of all..they never said ffVII is never going to hapen..they said the focus is on fxIII...after completion of fxIII they might consider doing ffVII because of the high demand for it
