FFVII Remake~!

I love FFVII (ps). I hope that Square will make it rebirth. Which platform you guys think it would most probably be? A FFVII with small improvement on PSP or , a huge epic game on PS3,which is remaked overall.

Well, we are getting Crisis Core...

although it isnt exactly a remake, it's a retelling, from a different perspective. or something.

FF 1-6 were all on Nintendo consoles, and remade on Nintendo handhelds.

FF 7 and up were / are all on Sony consoles. Seems like the next logical step would be to remake 7 and up on Sony handheld(s)

a remake for ps3 or a port to the psp would be great, but i think it would mess with the classic feel of the original. however, it would allow new gamers to play the game more easily than trying to dig up old copies from ps1 an pc. i've even thought it would be more fun to play it on my psp than playing the original on my ps3

yeah do a remake on the psp and a different version of the remake on the ps3.. but the one on the psp would be release first because the processing is quickerTrogeton

I highly doubt they are going to remake the game on two consoles. The best choice would be on the Playstation 3, this was a high quality title that sold over 10 million units. I doubt they are just going to make a copy paste port, its going to be a big difference.

We most probably will see a remake. I can almost guarantee we will. Have you seen the interviews? Square is currently very happy with making remakes because it is making them a lot of money, so why the hell would they skip the biggest money maker of them all? There will be a FF7 remake, and its going to be really big, thats why its going to be on the PS3. When media asks the question to FF developers, they state that they are too busy for a remake. Which is true, most of the team is busy working on FF13 and Versus and many other projects. Hopefully later on in the PS3's life, we will see a remake of FF7.

EDIT: BTW, PSN? hell no, why the hell would they port a AAA title to PSN? the game sold 10 million units, the demand is very high for a remake, for them to port the thing to PSN would be a STUPID move. Why waste the time and effort? might as well put the PS1 version on PSN. If they are going to remake the game, they are going to make it a real PS3 title, and it is going to have the graphics that of what we have seen of FF13.

yea a psn title wouldnt be good...because i have like 4 copies of the original muahahahaha

There will definitely be a remake. I highly doubt a game that made millions and was so popular will end up on handheld.

When it finally arrives, the most highest probability will be PlayStation 3. FFVII is a legend on it's own and it should be remade in it's full glory on PS3. Time will tell.
