From Mike Kebby on the EU PSN blog after been asked about FFVIII
"It's coming, it's coming – no specific date at the moment, but soon"
And when asked the date
"I would lean towards weeks rather than months…"
Can't Wait :D

What the hell? I know that Europe is usually screwed when it comes to things like this, but couldn't they have done a dual EU/NA release? I really want to play FFVIII again. Best in the series IMO.
Europe getting stuff early? Laaaame. Well I mean good for you europeans, bad for us NA players...
Hope NA release comes in a few weeks as well.

Hey u got MGS, Silent Hill, RE1, Crash 2 etc.We will probably never get them :(
Final Fantasy VIII beats all of those combined. I just apologized for downloading the Undead Knights demo(look on PSP forums if you haven't heard about it), and then they make me po'd again. Come on Sony!

tbh I'd rather MGS over FF8 but that's only because MGS is my favorite game and my PS1 discs are too damaged to play but I'm happy enough with FF8 :D

I hope it comes out next week. FF8 is my favorite of them all! (im the oddball aren't i?)punkrocker163lol i think. I never liked the battle system on ff8. and i didn't like drawing/junctioning. i prefer the job system of FF9 which is why I'm hoping that gets released on PSN in the next few months.

For some reason i hated 9 the most. I was turned of by the graphic difference between 8 and 9. I remember I was toward the end of disk one and my data got corrupt and never played it again. lol. ill buy it when it comes out on PSN.

No, you aren't the oddball. I thought Final Fantasy VIII was twice as good as any others in the series. X comes in second, then IX, XII, and VII comes in fifth.

I honestly didn't get why they attempted a realistic feel in FF8. The graphics are great and all, but IMO it doesn't fit for a final fantasy game. nonetheless, it is still a good game. I just prefer FF9 to pretty much any game :P love the art style and the characters on it. Anyway, I'll get FF8 when it comes to US PSN. already bought 7. but I'm the opposite of you :P because 8 is (was) my least favorite. haven't played it in about 7 years. I'll give it another shot in the next few weeks/month when it is released in US.
I still have my Hard copies of FFVII, FFVIII And FF IX, this is not a big deal for meAgentA-Mi6
I am so jealous. I wish I had the hard copies.

Me too, actually, i have 2 of FF7 (no GH)
But would like to have them in digital too for my PSP... i dont know, i like to play Ps1 games in it.
It's a good system to play PS1 games on. I have a few myself, and hope to get a lot more within the next six months.
Well, there are several games i wished for and are in the PSN, like Gex 3, FF7, RE1, Silent Hill 1, Crash Bandicoot 3, Medievil... now i only want Crash Team Racing, FF8 and FF9... PSN/PS1 games FTW!
Marmotas
yeah. PSOne Classics was a great idea. I hope more come. Off-topic, how is Medievil?
I like it, its like a plataformer. You are a dead man thats resurrected and have to destroy your old nemesis... Its a fun game (both in theme and in dialogue).
Mmm, cant really explain that good, watch some reviews and videos.
Its like 20 levels, most of them have secret stuffs... the objective its not only completing the level but also collecting the "chalice of souls" of each one of them, this chalices have to be repleted first with the souls of the enemies and then collected. Most of them are really hidden, or in plain sight (with some catch, lke watch me but cant touch me unless "do this", or are difficult to fill or lots of backtracking). Now, each time you finnish a level with the chalice you will be rewarded with items, weapons, gold, etc.
There are some key items that you can miss (thus backtracking to other lvls), the characters are cool (well, there are just a few of them besides Sir Daniel Fortesque... you, but the conversations and books are funny)
The most notable of this game is its thematic, its like a movie from Tim Burton. (music, looks, all), it has its flaws (like damage detection and a couple glitches here and there) and its kinda short, but for 5.99 i believe its worth it.... and its WAAAAAYYYY better than the PSP version (wich its supposedly a remake) and the 2nd part.
