Come on people do you honestly believe this? I've been a PS3 owner since it's release date and if there's one thing I've noticed, it's up until now, EA has done a fine job of putting out buttery smooth 60fps games for 360, with average ports to the PS3 with huge framerate issues (e.g. Madden 08, NCAA 08, and most recently, NHL 08.). What makes you think Fifa will be any different? I can assure you the 60 fps will probably show up on 360, meanwhile the PS3 version will get an unstable 30 fps that looks like you're "playing the game under a strobe light". It's really become frustrating at this point. Sure people say "Don't worry, developers are still getting used to programming for the PS3" which is true, but the PS3 is a little under a year into it's release, and while some developers are making progress (Ubisoft with GRAW 2, and Rainbow Six Vegas), EA just seems to be lagging, shipping out masterpieces for 360 while making unstable mediocre ports for the PS3. This will not change until EA makes an effort to develop titles on the PS3 first and then perhaps port them to 360 (which of course everybody and their mother knows EA has no intention of doing). It's a vicious cycle my friends. Companies like EA say they won't develop games on PS3 first until there's a greater base of PS3 owners out there, and average consumers will not buy the PS3 for two reasons 1.) The price is still high in comparison to 360 (yes it is a superior system specs wise, but people look at the games on a system before anything else, and if they are mediocre on PS3, why buy it?), and 2.) The games that do end up coming out on both the 360 and PS3 are superior on the 360 (time and time again)...

The ps3 version of fifa 08 was built up based specifically for the ps3 and likewise with the 360 version so both consoles should get 60fps and bring out the best in what each console has to offer individually

Ahh, see this I didn't know. If EA is actually devoting time to specifically develop the game for the PS3 then perhaps for once we PS3 owners will get a decent product as well, instead of a pathetic port. We need more games to be developed like this so that the beauty of the PS3 hardware can be utilized to it's full potential. I hope EA continues with this trend...
