I brought the Gamecube for the Resident Evil games back then.

Thread Starter is very opinionated and not so much bright. Some games can sell consoles and FF is one of them. I bought a Genesis for Altered Beast, Bought PSX for SOTN, bought SNES for Super Street Fighter II, bought a 360 for Gears and so on.

While XIII and Versus are exclusive atm doesn't mean crap. Just weeks ago Sony had an article saying they were in talks and were trying to keep SE exclusive. No word yet how that went. We know 2 games from the Crystalis have not been announced though new rumors hint one is for the Wii. Think back what happend to DMC4. "Exclusive. Only on the PS3" months later it was not only announced to be on a 360 but launch the same day!

FF still has months to go. We know SE paid thousands for the UT3 engine. naysayers say its for the future MMO, maybe, but it could be to help create a FF for the 360. If this is all true why no word and such secretly for over a year now of rumors? Simple, SE has stated they want competition and neither side to dominate. If word got out that the 360 was getting FF, that would hurt the PS3 future sales even more than Capcom with DMC4. Before you say Capcom only want money etc, they could easily port Lost Planet or Dead Rising for the PS3 but don't, why? the PS3 doesn't have a big enough market share worth the cost of making the game.Â

Motorstorm sold what? 180k - 200k units? That's as bad as Blue Dragon sold in Japan alone. I'm not jumping the gun and saying we'll see a FF on a 360 but to say Sony isnt losing an exclusive is SE 'jumps in' is foolish. SE might have made FFXI for the 360 but that's an MMO, everyone got that port. If SE wasn't exclusive why didn't they port FFXII? Because they were exclusive ya idiots! Why do you think you read from Sony's own mouth they are trying to keep their exclusives! duh, Exclusives.Â
