I am currently playing FF13 and I'm liking it, but I find myself in a pickle. I just beat barthandelus for the second time and he has given me a ship to go back to cocoon. I haven't finished everything on pulse. Do I get to come back and try later in the game or should I do all the missions now?

In everyother FF game I wouldn't have this question but given the linearity...

Thanks

When you beat the game it lets you level up to 5 levels of crystiruim, otherwise the strong monsters on Pulse would be impossible.

You can come back and do everything.

When you get to the final chapter of the game you get the chance to freely go to Pulse and back whenever you want.
But as mentioned, you'll need to finish the game in order to complete some of the later missions on Pulse.

Gonna third this. Seriously, some of the marks are literally impossible to do without a fully beefed out crystarium (sp?) system. Even then, the last 20 or so marks are still ridiculously hard. Especially some of the titan marks, or whatever they're called.

Fleshing out your end-game characters will let them survive attacks that would otherwise 1-hit them if you tried doing them right now.
