It says that FFVII is on the PSN network. If I buy it will it be able to play on my PSP?

So the PSP and the PS3 share the same network basically?

Yeah pretty much. 'Course not any game can be played on the PSP or vice versa though. PS1 games can be played on both. But each system still has their own games for downloading as well.

And anything you buy is linked to your account, not the system. So if you buy FFVII on the PS3, you can download it on both systems for no extra cost.

Not sure how much of that you were wondering. lol

Ok that's actually really cool. How much data does a typical Ps1 game usually take up

I have a question. If I purchase a PS1 classic and decide to play it on my PSP and then I decide I want to continue on my PS3, can I transfer the save data or will I have to start all over? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advancce.

No, neither system requires the other. As mentioned before, all ofthe buying process is related exclusively to your account. You can even buy the gamewith your computerusing 'Media Go' and then transfer it to your PSP (good choice since the bigger screen makes it easier to navigate the menus)... or you can buy it directly from the PSP (Using the PS3 is an option, too).

Well thats good to know. Well i look forward to playing some of these titles at some point, i don't want to squander a lot of money on psp games right now though. Lord knows i've probably done more than enough of that on my wii and ds as of late.

Actually, it's closer to 1.2-1.3 gb. FFVIII was around 1.7-1.8 gb, and I'm guessing FFIX is going to be bigger than that.

I see. Guess that means I need to go out and buy a memory stick.

And I have memory sticks also, is it possible to transfer files from a different memory stick to another without having to connect your PSP to the computer?

Ive wondered about this, do ps1 gamees automatically go to the ps3 and the psp or only the ps3 then you have to transfer to psp? Cause I only have a psp and my cousin has a ps3, and we share an account(well actually only I use it but its in his name)and if it goes to his ps3 then I wont be able to play unless I go to his house and tranfer it, and I hardly ever go to his house

It won't go automatically and you don't need to go to the PS3 to transfer.

You see, once you buy it, it's in your list of downloads. And no matter what system you are using, if you are in the account, just go the store, go to the downloads page and just download it.

Technically speaking, yes. You'd have to transfer the files from one stick to the computer, and then from the computer to the other stick. Some computers have an adaptor for the memory sticks, if not you need an adaptor, at which point it would just be easier to connect your PSP to the computer.
