Honestly? No. Final Fantasy is too big of a game to refurbish in glorious 720p. If anything, Square Enix would do a remake of VII if at all. Kingdom Hearts seems more likely as it's more confined and linear.Rootbeer95
I wouldn't say that. According to someone at Sony, Square-Enix is probably working on a Final Fantasy collection as we speak.

Doesn't surprise me. Ubisoft is working on a Prince of Persia collection and Midway Games is working on a Mortal Kombat collection both with 720p graphics for the PS3. Why wouldn't Square-Enix jump on board? They're just updating the graphics and adding trophies, not completely overhauling the physics or anything. It should only take a few months to complete.
Also, a Final Fantasy collection is MUCH more likely now than a Final Fantasy VII remake (there's a big difference between updating the graphics with a fresh coat of paint and completely remaking a PS1 game).
A Kingdom Hearts collection will happen eventually too (I think that will be how Nomura celebrates the 10-year anniversary in 2012).
