Should i get final fantasy crisis core

After playing it myself, I've barely had much fun with it so far. Personally I find it rather boring, thrown toegether and the Missions tacked on are just-- ugh, I'm only 20% threw them and I don't know If I can go any farther. You may enjoy it if your an avid Final Fantasy VII fan, but this game was not for me.
I am also interested in this game, so let me ask. When you people that say the combat is boring, do you mean it has a more simple fighting system like Final Fantasy 7 did or do you mean something else? Because if you mean the fighting is boring because it has a simple combat system like FF7, I can live with that.
No its not turn based. If you click the button he attacks. And you get spells and, limits. The combo system and combat system is so fun! Some people just think its boring because they stink at it.I am also interested in this game, so let me ask. How can anyone stink at the combat... it's so simple. Hack, slash, dodge, repeat. I've gone through most of the game so far without any use of spells or attacks such as Ap using ones. The only one I really use is cure and the occasional magical attack when it serves rather well-- which most of the time all you have to do is beat the enemy to a pulp with your sword. Their really is no strategy and really the flow of combat is just too tedious for me. But to each their own I suppose.

No more tedious than standard FF turn-based combat. If you want to kill something quickly you do have to do some maneuvering around to whack them on the butt. And... it's not the game's fault you aren't bothering to use any other attacks... if it's too easy, have you tried playing on hard? (I've havent, so I can't comment on that difficulty)

True I suppose. But at least I have fun with other FF tediousness. :P
Yeah I thought about switching to hard mode... but I don't know if I really want to go through all i've done again just for a little difference in challenge-- but I'm not really complaining much about the difficulty, but just the combat itself. It could be the easiest game-- but if it had a fun combat system I wouldn't mind. I just feel like its a chore to beat this game, especially if I decided to get everything done, missions, collecting all the materia, equipment and what not. I'm just not feeling the love for this game.
And honestly I would have just paid my 20 dollars on a movie telling this chapter of the story than a game at this point.

Dude it isn't that easy. If you just hack and slash the whole game eventually you will die and die and just get stuck. EXAMPLE: Bosses you need to figure out their moves then take advantages of them. FOr example when you fight red hair guy when he turn into this huge beast (forgot his name) you have to figure out what hes gonna do. Or he'll just kill you. It isn't that easy due.
It's easy once you figure it out.
I just used Blizzaga's(or whatever they're called) at a distance until he was susceptible to mele attacks then I used Thundaga's and Vital Slashes in close range. He was down in 5-7 minutes...

No its not turn based. If you click the button he attacks. And you get spells and, limits. How can you be bad at button-mashing? It's just x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-r-x-x-l-x-x-x-x-x-x-x. And back on topic, it's a good game, but it's overly praised. It's not bad, but definetly not great.
