Going out of town this weekend, going to pick up one or the other for the trip. Any sugestions? I've played the 1st syphon filter PSP game, but I don't own an RPG for the PSP yet. Taking thatinto account, whats everyone think?

Thanks to all. I went with FF:T and picked it up at lunch. I figure I already have two shooters (Dark Mirror and MGS:PO,) only one "strategy" game (MG:A) and nothing resembling a role playing game.
On a side note, anyone miss the old FF: Legends and FF: Adventure games for the old school game boy? FF: Legends is probably my fav. portable role playing game of all time. Can anyone recomend somthing like it for the PSP?
You made the right choice but FYI Logan's Shadow is essentially the same as dark mirror except different story and 2 new moves.Zero202020
I dont know about that man..
What about water missions? The new graphics effects? Weps? Online is way different not to mention way more than 2 moves are new.. Lots of people seem to be knocking SFLS that havent played it.. :(
But if you like the older FF games and tactics alot then check out Jean D.. Great srpg as well.. Every bit as good as FF tactics..

No way is Jeanne D'arc as good as FF Tactics.
Have you played them both? Dont get me wrong FF Tactics is a classic and one of the best FF games in my opinion but its the same game it has been for years. Just like the FF1 and 2 remakes its nothing new. Jeanne D'arc is every bit as good, If not slightly better. At the very least more user friendly..
If you've played through Dark Mirror, i recommend playing Logan's Shadow. Great game.
Some people are saying it's similar to Dark Mirror. Well... Of course it uses the same engine as the previous game (with a few tweaks). i see no reason why it wouldn't. It's the same series, you play as the same character, on the same system, with the same controls, and pretty much the same weapons. Why would you complain about it being too similar? It's a sequel!

Yeah i've played both and while very good, Jeanne D'arc is not as good as FF Tactics imo. Tactics has a much better story, tons of customisation options, it's longer and much harder.
