PSP fans are about to get some great news, especially if they've never played FFT. Right after SE supposedly showed their "lack of confidence" in Sony, they announced a PSP only refresh of FFT and what looks to be a sequel to FFT that will hopefully come to PSP as well. Here's the link:
Hooo, that sounds really great. I've always wanted to play FF Tactics on the PS1 but never had the chance. Now, since I'm planning on getting a PSP for christmas, I finally will have the chance after all! Weee! ^^
yesyesyesyeysyeysyeysyees I am SO happy, FFT is my favorite game ever. I love everything about it. And a PSP remake, amazing! Hopefully it's just as good. And I hope the "sequel" is nothing like Tactics Advance, that was terrible.
Yeah, I also didn't get a chance to play FFT on PS1 (my bro bought it a few years later but I still haven't been able to play it with everything else I've got on the table) so I'm definitely looking forward to this. Some extra cell shaded movies and character jobs might just be the beginning of what they add.
lol, i really like the Gameboy Advance version of FF: Tactics, i think i put about 100 hours into that game. But does anyone have a general release date for it, like in the summer, winter, fall, and etc.. I was hoping that they would release the ps1 version on the ps1 emulator.

All we need now is Castlevania SotN, Xenogears, Chrono Cross, Vagrant Story, Einhander and we've got the greatest handheld ever! (Looking back at that list, damn, Square makes some awesome games!)

Damn, you read my mind exactly. I'm praying Sony gets SotN, Chrono Chross, Einhander for the PlayStation Store. Einhander was definitely the **** Damn shame I didn't buy it (rented it so many times and eventually couldn't find it in stores anywhere).
I like FF cause of the story. Does this one have a story? Plus why was it called tatics? What makes it different from the other ones?games_pot1
It's called Tactics because it's a strategy RPG rather than a traditional RPG. As to the story, from what I've heard and from what my brother tells me, it's excellent. He considers it the best FF story ever alongside FFVII.
