just went over to the japanese ps store and there it was the ps1 verision of ff7 for the ps3 and psp! altguth there is no guarante that it will make its way west.

I suggest you wait, maybe SONY has Final Fantasy VII for us later next month or so.

Sony is not planning to release FFVII on other regions' PSNStores, there have been threads on this.

I'm getting a JPN PSNStore prepaid card just so I can get it, along with Xenogears and Brave Fencer Musashi.

Too bad i can't buy anything from PSN because my country isn't supported :( I'm waiting for PSN cards to buy stuff from PSN

I hope it's true, but I dont think it will be out to the US PS store til the FF13 out in the US, which is the end of the year. I believe.

i hope someone realizes the money they will make if they would give us more rpg's especially classics....i think north america is in need for quality rpgs like the snes era...turn based rpgs with next gen graphics and storage capabilities would make for an awsome adventure...but nobody takes the time to make a ff4/6 quality rpg anymore...
