Final Fantasy VII or Crisis Core. Which one should i play first?, considering the storyline.
I have never played both game, so i was wondering which is the best introduction to the game.

I don't think it matters. I haven't played Crises Core, but I played though FF7 3 times in the 90's. Final Fantasy 7 has the main climax of the storyline except maybe for Advent Children. It has a excellent stroy, but will take you 50 hours or so to beat it. Also the graphics and gameplay are starting to age poorly. If you are going to play the original at all, play it soon.jmartin1016yea i agree play it fast.
Well i am actually going to play the FF7 Remake on the PS3, so i got no problems on aged graphics.Yorro
No remake buddy, sorry. Is just a tech demo, SE has done those since the N64 days, with FFVI showing the N64 power, FFVIII showing the PS2 and now FFVII showing the PS3.
You should really try and play FFVII first. You don't need it in order to play Crisis Core, but Crisis will ruin the main plot twist in VII.
If you wish to appreciate Final Fantasy VII world and all of its story I strongly suggest you play original PS1 FFVII first, then watch the Advent Children movie and then play Crisis Core.
It doesn't matter that it's a prequel to VII, trust me on this one. Play the original first then Crisis Core, you won't regret it. 8)
