Topic says VIII/8 btw. Rather have FFXIII...One thing i'm hoping for is a World Map and Flyable Airship in FFXIII. Heck after that they can start on FFVII remake for all i care. As long as i get a new and better final fantasy story than the one FFXII had then i'll be fine.

I am sorry but I want a long linear story. I hate having to deal with multiple endings and stuff like taht. That is why i lvoed final fantasy X and ahted X-2.
Yea peopel like the open world and stuff but I hope the story is good and just very long (I am greedy so i want 80 plus hours LOL)
Yea mgs4 isnt an rpg and is one of a kind but I liekd the open style missions with the linear story. I hope I can get that in the next final fantasy.

Definitely XIII. As nice as a VII remake would be it would still be a remake. Would you really want Square Enix to devote large amounts of time, money, and not inconsiderable talent to something we have already played? You wouldn't ask Spielberg to remake E.T. just because special effects are outdated, would you? The industry needs to make less remakes and sequels/prequels, we shouldn't encourage them so much.
I aint paying no 59.99 for the remake. Why play something you already beat instead experience a whole new storyline? Final Fantasy VII remake can wait. Im getting tired of seeing Sephiroth coming back from the dead. And seeing Aeris die one time is enough. :x Bring on XIII, Versus, and Agito!!!
